As the Titans of Pagan and their forces rumbled across the land, not all the population fled in terror.

Indeed, some of the citizens welcomed their new elemental overlords with glee. Altars were erected, Temples were built, and blood sacrifices were made in their names. Very soon, the foolish, the weak of will, and those who desired power had gathered and formed cults for the worship of anti-virtue.

The scholars of Moonglow gathered around their books, gathering knowledge, preparing to strike back at these falsehoods, and free the minds of these foolish citizens.

But then, the cult leaders met with Pyros, bringing a sacrifice of every water-born creature they could find. Seeing the spawn of his age-old antagonist lying butchered filled him with glee, and he gave the cultists his blessing – a blessing of power.

“Truth is merely words.” whispered Pyros in their minds “Destroy those who know the words, burn the books that hold the words, and where is your Truth?”

Slowly, menacingly, they turned towards Moonglow, their eyes on the Lyceum, and those who huddled within…

Ladies, gentlemen and orcs, I am sorry to trouble you with this, but I have just been informed that I "may experience intermittent connection on Saturday and Sunday do to "planned maintenance". Not very well planned if you ask me.

So, I seem to have two choices. Postpone the event, or let the monsters loose the instant I see I have a connection. If I go with the second option, you won't get the level of service that I strive to give you, you'll just have some monsters wandering around, and hopefully a gate to the general area. If and when I can connect, I will.

I'll leave the decision in your hands. Let me know what you think, here. I'll go with whatever the majority want on Saturday night, if/when I can get a connection. That will be as close to 5pm EST as I can manage, and will either be an announcement of when we're postponed until, or that the monsters are roaming!

Ouch ! That's not good :/ .... Maybe you can spawn some minions to help them to fix the problem fast? ... Probably you'll spend much time setting up the event and so isn't nice if you can't join it at 100% but if you'll held the event i'll be there Anyway i'll follow majority vote

Well, I personally enjoy an event more when our resident dungeon master can adjust things along the way as needed and relish our deaths I vote to postpone it, or perhaps Friday instead if that is an option.

Unfortunately Friday is not an option this week. I could probably do it Sunday night, but I know that isn't ideal for folks who need to work in the morning. (Like me for instance!)

So, options remain :
1. I drop monsters on you if and when I'm able.
2. I postpone it - perhaps have it directly after the Siege Council meeting later this month? Or sometime during the week?

In the meantime, I suspect there's still something horrible marching around Ter Mur unless some extremely brave, publicity shy warrior had a recent victory?

Consider it postponed, given that this is the only time I've managed to get online all day, and it probably won't last. Watch this space for the new date and time! In the meantime, enjoy Halloween - assuming it's working!

After some thought, and a lot of staring at a calendar, AND taking player run events into consideration, I have decided to spawn the mobs in the middle of the Gilfane auction, on the top floor of their auction house. Somewhere between items 3 and 8.

No? *sighs* Take all the fun out of mass slaughter, see if I care. How about 5:30pm EST the same day, and NOT on the top floor of their auction house? The extra half an hour is to give folks more time to get their purchases to safety after the auction.

That does mean you'll get an event on Friday AND Saturday, but you can all PK anyone who complains and steal their drops. There might be drops. There might not. Come and see!

So, Friday 13th - "Luck" 5pm EST
Saturday 14th - "Truth" 5:30 pm EST

All happy? Well, I'll keep trying, either way.

Monsters attacking at the end the auction house... - I like that idea... - Bring them afterwards directly to it..

Like that more people might join the auction. - And they still can join the fights later, by coming in from the various hubs, which are connected to that house.
