History: The Shadow Dragoons were formed as a special fighting regiment. Comprised of all races of the Order alliance, they are to be extremely mobile and flexible enough to take the fight to the forces of Destruction anywhere, anytime, in anyway possible. As an elite fighting regiment, they hold each other to strong bonds of kinship and professionalism.
Purpose:
A Shadow Dragoons purpose is to wage war against the brutal Orks, vile forces of Chaos, and the wicked Dark Elves. Wherever the forces of Destruction may be found, we will hunt them down. There is no mercy, there is no retreat, and there is no peace.
Requirements:
Role-playing - We are a light to medium Role Playing guild and we do expect our members to partake in some Role Playing events. That being said, we do ask that one be mindful of their RP. If it can be seen as offensive, or not in good taste, then we ask you to refrain. A member who does not follow that basic rule can be removed from the guild.
Honor - Because the action of the individual reflects upon the guild as a whole, we expect all members to act honorably towards others and in the best interest of the guild, no matter the situation.
Originality - we expect members and potential members to use game appropriate names. No “leet” or copyrighted fantasy names (i.e. – Drizt, Legolas, etc.)
Teamwork - We do not, nor will not, tolerate those who continually refuse to cooperate with their guild mates or act in a belligerent and abusive manner.
Fair Play - a game should be played as its developers intended. Any member found using an exploit or cheat within the game will be banished from the guild and their name turned over to said developers for any further action. This is non-negotiable and the only warning a member will receive. Any who disagree with this policy are free to leave the guild.
Other:
Many members of “The Shadow Dragoons” are members of a larger organization for gamers called: House Ancora. House Ancora is an Online Gaming Guild (OGG) that serves as a “meta-guild” for our members. Members of “The Shadow Dragoons” can join House Ancora, and are encouraged to do so, but it isn’t required. What House Ancora provides to its members is a continuity of friendships between different games and a forum for role-playing outside of games. The Ancora OGG stands as a gathering place for our online family and a staging ground for our forays into worlds old and new. We welcome new companions.
