Well i have obviously read so many excited people with the upcoming 15th anniversary of UO, but unfortunately before you become to eager and to overexpecting let me give you a touch of reality.
The best you can hope for from the 15th anniversary is going to be some new monster that is going to drop some new item that unfortunately no one will care about.
There will be no advertisting, there will be no notice by the gaming community, mostly because they have nothing to brag about, and the 1000s if not 10s of 1000s of players who have left on bad terms have assured this.
It really doesnt make sense why they cant fix some bugs or try to balance pvp. It really is a straight lie that it would require a lot of effort or cost, these statements are made by people who basically arent willing to spend even a portion of what they recieve to maintain its life. Why? Corporate greed.
Basically the 15th can be counted on ushering in a whole new wave of people leaving UO. Too many people are watching, waiting with that anticipation of a rebirth, only to get the biggest disappointment BY FAR from our o so talented dev team.
To those who believe that this kind of behavior serves to build the community, while complaining about others activitys on forums like this, as if it could even come CLOSE to the destruction they have caused themselves is rediculous. You are ignorant, you have chosen to be blind to the games massive shrinking in just the last few months alone, you have chosen to be used, for money, and you have chosen to pay for almost nothing. But again it doesnt take a crystal ball to see you will be by far having even less company by the end of this year. A year where even the people who owned the game didn't really care.
