Ok I posted pretty much the same question in the carpenters section a while ago and received no answers so trying here as my last resort.

I'm trying to get good prices for stone furniture and figured I would ask how much you think granite is per peice. I think since the new resource changes that colored granite would go up in price substantially. Anyone here sell fine granite or better yet stone furniture that can give me a rough estimate on pricing?

Any help is appreciated.

I haven't seen any significant price increases yet, I suspect it hasn't filtered through to the masonry folks and so they haven't bumped up pricing. It was never a high-demand set of items after the first rush.

Outside of Luna that is. You might have to wander around and see if you can find a few vendors to compare on your shard.

The only guideline I ever saw was to price granite at the same rate the ore would sell for. (Since honestly, you do lose an ore gain when you get a granite chunk.) Then you'd have to multiply times the number of granite pieces it takes to make each item.

It may seem overpriced.. but tough. Let them go mining for their own stuff.. see how easy it is.

I hired someone on Napa Valley to mine me 100 shadow granite pieces. I have a gm miner and he has gm carp and can craft stone furni....I just prefer to use my play time via other avenues. I'm paying him 10k a piece; a mil for 100 shadow granite. But I'm generous.

Holy poopsquat, that is generous! Any iron spot can yield shadow ore, if the miner in question is of the fighting sort.

*find iron
*bump to dull copper with prospector's tool
*gather shadow with gargoyle pickaxe

Why is the rest of the granite craving world not so generous?
