The patch messed up parry training...?

Umm... so training parry in the Jhelom pits with fighters seems to not be working like it usually does...

Typically when working parry without bushido on the template you use a two handed weapon from a skill you don't have. IE: I'm a swordsman using a black staff (macing). I was gaining using the 2handed black staff... up until 25.1 skill in which it stopped.

I'm only gaining now by using a shield... wondering if anyone else is having this issue and if it's intended to be thisway.

I always used sheep pin. Just put a dagger on my swords char and can go from 50 to 100 in a few hours practically.

I used to be able to go 0-100 in like 30 mins using female wrestlers...been at it for a couple hours now using a shield and pushing 90...

Sounds Like It got fixed not messed up. NO Skill Should BE that damn easy to gain in!

To my opinion, the parrying training in the Dueling Pit was more like an exploit than a feature.

I will always say sheep were better anyways 0-120 in 2hours.

In my experience with sheep ive always (when using bush) had to use a mace(im swords) and shield (both hpr2 so barely ever had to heal)

Is parry that much of an issue that they would fix how it's gained after all these years? ... when there's so many other issues out there far greater than this.

Or did someone cry nerf on parry because it's the new flavor of the month I've got no clue about...

They could have at least said they were fixing it... unless this is just a weird bug (bound to happen w/every patch) that they weren't expecting.

If a Dev could please look and reply if this was intended or not that'd be great.

30 minutes to GM? Sheesh, I'm glad I'm on Siege. Sure you can get from 0-70 in that time, but 70-GM...not so much. YAY for RoT...la

You get it wrong. Parrying has not been nerfed. The skill gain abuse has been abolished.

They could have at least said , "Hey, there's been an issue with parry and is being looked at"

Are they going to nerf the rate of Meditation/Focus gain next? Since those both go up really fast too...

Then again, It's EA, for the most part they always leave us in the dark with what they're doing.

I have been stuck at 112.8 parry for 6 months now. I don´t even get the GGS. Tried everything and no monster will give me any gains. So maybe if parrying changed for the lot of you, it might work for me now.
