I'm just hoping they decide to finally get to the finale. Would be nice to have a change up to the event for the weekend and let us bring a close to it so we can get ready for the turn in then prepare for the next part of the story arc.

Holy you know what calm down some of you.
It's still in the am all over America. These people are not chained to their desks overnight at some computer kennel.
It's like when I see people post 'JEREMY WHY DON'T YOU RESPOND' or 'I NEED ANSWER RIGHT NOW K THX' and then complain about it and it is like on a friday night, Saturday or Sunday. I'm totally blown away by how people think that they are doing this 24/7.
Trust me, I know because _I_ get that at work. I get voice mails from like at 6pm telling me that a staff's shift end at 11pm and they want a call back before then... it's really aggravating.

I for one would rather the UO Team be comfortable with their update times. If they aren't really ready to publish the new content, then I am patient until they feel the new stuff has been tested thoroughly and is ready to go. Thanks for the update, Jeremy! *smiles*

Holding back a publish for more bug testing is understandable. Not posting the publish change list is not. There is no good reason why they can only post the change list when it is on Test Center.
Now it is just going to be another boring weekend with no substantial UO discussion.

You're definitely not alone.
I don't get upset if they bump back the release of content. I get upset if they release content that's riddled with obvious bugs. I get mad when I lose stuff because of bugs that never should have made it out of QA.

I think if they would enlighten us on what the turn ins are going to be then people would settle down. All other publishes we are notified as to what the content will be and so far nothing.... even with the tokuno stuff we had a heads up so everyone was out collecting more because they knew they wanted dyes and so on!

The reason they are not posting publish details I THINK is because of the housing exploit changes they are putting in...no need to tip off the cheaters too far in advance...besides, if we KNEW what we were going to be able to turn in, everyone would be busy throwing things away they didn't need and not playing the game, what fun is that?? *Grins*

Thank you Jeremy for letting us know as early as possible that QA needs more time so that you don't have pages of "I can't believe this got past QA when I found it in a millisecond upon logging into TC; QA suckeths; what QA?" if it went out prematurely. Appreciate it and look forward to whatever surprises are in store.

Some people would be throwing out items not being turned in most others would be out collecting the items that will be turned in. Actually...letting us know which items specifically will be turned in might get more people playing this weekend. A lot of people I know have given up playing the "event" and are back to doing regular stuff.
I don't mind waiting. I would rather it come out with as few bugs as possible.
I would enjoy knowing some of the details though. I understand and agree they shouldn't tell EVERYTHING like the exploit/bug fixes.
But there has to be some stuff they can let us know that won't effect too much.
Like the items being turned in? (Draconi already told us the cloaks won't be but not to toss them they have a future use)
Are we getting the cocoa trees and seeds?
I am sure there are other juicy tidbits they could let us know. Maybe we will get some info in the FOF tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up, Jeremy. I hope you guys are seriously reviewing the faction changes to make sure they go in correctly. I'd love it even more if I knew you were completely reevaluating the changes for load balancing and multiple characters per account in factions to see if they all make sense, but I think that's too much to hope for.
Is someone making sure that the 30-day age rule to join factions on Test Center is waived so we can test the changes when they go in? Also, will there be enough time to test the faction quit process before you go live to the production shards to make sure you really can get out in 3 days and that if you put multiple characters from one account in factions that quitting with one character doesn't mess up the other characters?

Hell, I'd even go for more of the Magincia Daemons, without even the Light or Void variety just as a change of pace and another chance to get the named blackrock boxes.
