F the childern... My dogs are my kids.... Much cheaper, and easier to maintain and more enjoyable imo! I don't think I could stand the whining and crying and diapers and feeding 24/7 and waking uppp then dadddy momm dadddy mommmy... I just can't no maybe when im 30... lol
Yeah these guys will live to 10-15 years if everything goes well... Yes 2 years olds may be cute at 2 but my pups are cute for life.... Wait till that 2 year old hits puberty and loses their dam mind, gets pregnant or inpregnants someone, and hates you till she/he is 21 just getting their life togeather! Drama drama drama in childern... I like enjoying what life I have heh
With such a sweet face, I'm sure he'll be NO TROUBLE at all!

I reckon its cuz im from the south and have had hunting dogs around all my life, but i refuse to have a dog in the house. Maybe when i get married and have a kid this will change but not likely.
Ive got 4 coon hounds (3 red tick english one black and tan), O about 12ish beagles, and a handful of border collies. I enjoy all their company when they preform properly. Most of the time they do. I am only attached to one and for the right price i will become unattached very fastlike :0
Some people view dogs like their children and i dont look down on them for that. I was just raised diffrently and i feel they are workers first friends second. Workers that are open to punishment when they dont do the job ive spent time and money training them for.
But your competly correct those breed of dogs are super smart and can be teritorial and very protective. Not a bad choice for a pet i dont reckon. I had a healer and it was super cool. Would bite the **** out of anything it didnt want around me. So had to make sure he was pined up when it was time for backyard football or it was off to the ER for a stitch job in someones future.

Yeah, I understand completely where your mentallity is at. They are dogs that can definitly be used for working and if i had the land and all that I prolly use my aussies to work. But for the time being their my companions and kids. I love to see the working dogs though I've seen alot of videos of them performing their jobs and its crazy what they can do with the right training for partiicular jobs. Take a pic of those dogs you got roaming around I'd love to see them.

God NO!! don't wait till your 30... you will want to kill them even more !! trust me I know LOL, I had one kid when i was 21 then in my 30s. my gods it is toooo easy when you are young.30s its just madness on your soul.
My dad had me when he was 21... I felt so bad for him, for the life and time he had wasted on me... Seriously having kids can wreck some serious life experiences for yourself. Even though raising a child can be the best one. I just have other plans. Plus at 30 i'll have a house, vacations out of the way, money stored up to raise a child... It won't be a struggle finacially lol

Dogs are still cheaper to raise, and ya can spay & neuter your dogs.
Dogs will love ya, respect ya for merely giving em doggie snacks and frisbee toss play times.
Kids may or may not love ya back no matter what ya do to earn their love or respect.
Dogs mature faster with less hassles, some of our kids may never *grow up*.
Dogs do not need to study to pass first grade nor 12th grade.
Dogs do not require pricey class rings, prom dresses or tuxes, graduation invitations, nor new drivers insurance, nor need to figure out how to pay for college tuitions.
Both kids and dogs can consume something that gets stuck in their intestines, chances are to help save the dog's life will cost ya a few grand at the vet, haulin the kid to ER for same is gonna cost ya thousands, more.
But then only the human kids one day if ya lucky keep in touch with ya when ya get old or senile and maybe kid/s take care of us for a change maybe.
I doubt the dogs will be able to drive us to the old folks home though.
