This is a mess left over from the Dark Wisp invasion at the end of the Book of Truth event (when the library was piled high with fake books being sorted through looking for the real one). So it is old, but given it involved dark wisps acting as filler in anticipation of this event, not completely irrelevant.
However, each time I check, the shifty-eyed fellow standing in the back corner of that room goes into a battle stance.

I guess British took the funds with him, if the librarians won't do their cleaning up.

Is this why there is underground rooms at the Lyceum? Was Wextor always there?
he was there from awhile ago when we had to go and collect things for kronos to build his machine, ive checked and theres nothing new from him..
the underground room was made to show the book of truth ( the plaque should say the name of the person on your shard that found it).
on napa there is a hole in the lycaem floor that leads to fire dungeon to a spot surrounded by lava...golden moongate there, also old but i dont remember from what

There's a teleporter on the east side that leads down to the room with a display case for the true Book of Truth (with a plaque thanking the person who recovered it on your shard) and spartan living quarters for the sages.
Wextor is ... a little confused. It appears he still thinks he's supposed to be building the machine for Kronos and hasn't realized that he already succeeded and things have since gone amiss. Perhaps its just a temporal projection of a past instance of him?

It was from the tal'keesh event. This area is where she was discovered.
