The Limited edition of DND

Just downloaded the DND limited version ,I played a few years ago but did not care for the way almost everything was instanced. But now that my son is old enough to play I am thinking of giving it a good run,

What is the difference to limited and ordinary one? Is there a variant cover?

From my experience... if you are willing to drop the dollar, then you get to access more character races, and more zones.
