Aye you are not the only one who's chrs. are in the twilight zone. I first noticed it on my Siege guild roster of my chrs. figured no biggie, it is probably something else that is neglected and perma broken on Siege..no surprise. Then about a week later, I also noticed it also on my Ches. chrs. guild roster. . . so then I began to think.......it must be UO twilight zone timezone, cuz I was finding the last time I logged on...was into the future. . ie Tomorrows.

Guess they using some ..............time zone somewhere in the universe to enable us to be last logged on...into tomorrows.

But yes I have seen it too.

Well Flutter when ya think about it we ARE in yesterday..since Europe is already into Tomorrow, and in 45 mins or so the east coast be tomorrow we still in yesterday..today. Of course, I think Auckland NZ atm.. is in yesterday's yesterday...today.

Im pretty sure that the servers run on GMT. I know uo.com does (or did).

For the past couple years I have been on Cats, the server runs on GMT and is 6 hours ahead of my time. Not sure why its like that.

I've noticed that often....... however you shouldn't be surprised..... afterall I can have 3 characters on an account be MONTHS off from eachother in account age What's one day in the future to log in date... it's no wonder the account age's are all messed up!

(By the way the dragons are back in the dragon cave and they now have a whole new server.... so hopefully they won't cause near the lag in loading that they were)

It would be nice to have an option to choose the correct timezone for your location. Perhaps it could even automatically detect and apply your location settings to the client from the computer's time &amp; date settings. Then you would see times &amp; dates displayed correctly for your location.

The servers observe UTC - Coordinated Universal Time. In other words, timezone independent. Right now at the time of posting, it is 06:23 UTC. If your clock is behind that, you're gonna appear online in the future, as it were.

Are you seriously that rude?

It would only be natural to assume that the server observes local time, either for the server's assumed location (like, say, California PST for Napa) or the server's physical location. Only a tech junkie would come to the UTC conclusion.
