I. A TEAM OF EM'S!
LA now has a team of EM's serving us! On Friday the 17th of January we had an EM Event where our newest EM, EM Kincaid, was introduced to the group by EM Topaz. In 2020 our EM team will be sharing the duties of EM Events and Town meetings for Lake Austin.
EM Kincaid is not new to being an EM. He has a rowdy reputation from his duties as the EM at Siege! He proved his reputation on Friday evening by producing a huge host of dragons that players battled for hours before giving up and going to bed! Some lucky players went off with specially-named paragon chests from the Ilshenar-Compassion dragon battle.
If you go to Ilsh-Compassion be on the lookout for remnants of the battle from Friday in case these special monsters haven't decayed yet! Many of them packed a real PUNCH while others were 'a little wispy'!
Welcome EM Kincaid! EM Topaz, thank you for the lovely holiday décor, the events you have done and will do for us, keeping us so well informed with our EM cryer in Luna and other places, and all the work you do for us! We are looking forward to 2020 with our new team of EM's.

II. HOW TO REACH OUR EM'S.
At Friday's Town Hall and EM Event, EM Topaz told us that the websites formerly used by the EM's were being taken down and that the person who had managed them was no longer doing this. While there are still UO Forums we can post to, both of our EM's have Gmail addresses that they supplied to us so we can contact them. EM Kincaid also has a Facebook page that can be used to contact him. EM Topaz placed a book with her email address in it onto the display case at the southwest wall of the Counselor's Guild hall where our events are held so people can look it up.

If you would like to contact the EM's for any reason like, for instance, to be made a GOVERNOR of one of our governor-less cities, feel free to contact them using the above addresses!

III. HOLIDAY BATTLES STILL GOING!
If you were wondering, the Shrine Battles for Tabards and Cloaks are still going on! Krampus is also still haunting the highways for people doing trade runs! Every evening you will find people on general chat setting up groups to go fight shrine battles and offering to have people come with them. If you have any of the colored relic stones found in THunting in recent months you will be a most popular participant as it takes 8 of the properly colored relic stones to start a shrine battle at any given shrine! It takes 3 shrine battles to get a Tabard from the "Well of Souls" and one battle fought at each shrine in order to get the prized Cloak! The Shrine Battles are due to end at the next publish, if my information is accurate, so hurry if you'd like to get the imbuable, dyeable cloak and the rather handsome Tabard that reflects the particular shrine's colors that you did your battles and received your shrine battle title at. The cloak actually is more of a cowl and encircles your alt's neck quite handsomely. You can receive one cloak or tabard per character.

IV. CITY BUFFS/GOLD THIS WEEK: UPDATE.
Here is a list of the player buffs and gold balances of each City today (1/19/20). WE STILL NEED THREE GOVERNORS! Email one of our EM's if you'd like to be designated for Minoc, New Magincia, or Trinsic. Thanks to everyone who did Krampus trade runs and helped us work up some new City funds!
