Excerpted from my speech at the King's Council meeting last night:

As most of you probably know, I am a tamer. As such, I love animals... but that is not the case with all the governors.
I know that the Royal Guard has a lot on its plate at any given time, and matters of animal cruelty are not a top priority, however I can not stand idly by while the Governor of Trinsic, by her own repeated admission, continues to euthanize healthy and adoptable pets (mostly dogs by my understanding).

I do not ask anything of the Crown in this matter; however, as Vesper has recently had a stable built, I would like to take this opportunity to run a dog rescue event.

On Thursday, February 6th at 8PM EST, the City of Vesper will host the Greater Sosaria Dog Rescue. All interested parties are invited to gather at the Vesper stable, where details will be given and the operation will begin.

There will be prizes! All are welcome.

I rescued my dog, Rufio, with the help of Lady Ivy. Best pet choice ever. I love spending time with Rufio more than Stubby even though Stubby is a noble steed and Swamp Dragon. You won't regret coming to this even and helping find forever homes for these lovable animals!

We have no overpopulation problems though. We're in the wilds you know, Nature has its own ways of balancing things..
