Garp! Ok, it's Christmas gifts time, which means it's time for me to start up the rest of the shard transfers!

Actually, I'm waiting until the 7th, to give Jack Sparrow time to get back from travelling. But in the meantime, anyone who wants a ride, it's time to collect gifts and pack up

I will be transferring from the following shards:

• Catskills -> Chessie - full, once Ivy and Jack get me their bags.
• Europa -> Chessie
• Formosa -> Chessie
• Great Lakes -> Chessie
• Hokuto -> Chessie

• Pacific -> Atlantic

• Wakoku -> Atlantic (space is very limited)

The ride is free, but first come, first serve. I'll start taking bags on the 7th; contact me via ICQ 23573865preferably, or try to catch me via general chat on Chessie or a PM here. Depending how late it goes, I'll try to take bags after Ivy's auction on Friday as well.

Two quick important things! First, I already know there's at least 10 people wanting a ride on each shard. So *please* try to bring only what you actually want, not just every bath tub and SOA book you happened to get. Second, if you're about to throw some stuff out and claim points items, STOP! Let me trash them there, and collect for you on Chessie. There's a hard limit on item count, but I can carry unlimited numbers of points for free. If you don't have anything you want me to carry to Chessie, but do have junk on other shards that you want me to trash for points, that's fine too.

Any extra unused and unclaimed cleanup points from each shard I will use to collect items which I will then auction off on the forums, with the proceeds being donated 50/50 between Ozog (Pitmuck) and Ivy (Vesper), to support RP events by those cities. [ Riyana whiterabbit ]

Also, if you happen to be trading gifts with anyone, and want to help even out the loads a little, I know already that Europa is going to be a tight squeeze, but Catskills, LS, and Pacific (to Chessie) will have plenty of room.

Last, please do not give any items to anyone to carry home unless you are certain that it is me!

Taking bags again tonight. I need to rearrange the schedule again later tonight, to try and accommodate the toy soldiers' coming out.

For anyone who wants to collect them, here's the location for every shard (including ones I'm not xsharding from):

Asuka: in front of the Tram WBB
Atlantic: in the back of the orc cave, protected by guardian spawn
Baja: plaza behind councelors guild East Britain
Catskills: In the little cave near Covetous on the far western tip of the mountain.
Chessie: moving from tram bank to tram bank - today @ east Trinsic bank
Drachenfels: luna stable
Great Lakes: Go to Heartwood in Tram Yew. Then go SE down the path to the first thatched roof house. It has a big dragon on the roof. Toy box is in front of that house.
Hokuto: NEW LOCATION: inside the wbb, on the left in back.
Izumo: Luna stable
Lake Austin: in front of WBB
Lake Superior: to the left of the WBB by the white gate
Mizuho: Luna stable
Mugen: center of luna bank

I had to wake up way too early for work today (4:30 am ugh), so I didn't have time enough to get Asuka fully packed and shipped out last night. I will be home from work around 6 EST tonight. First I will get the Asuka #1 and Europa #1 off to Chessie, then I'll be unpacking Pacific and those 2 loads on Chessie. I will contact you when you have any bags to pick up. I've adjusted the schedule to allow for the delay, plus to give as much time as possible to drop off any last minute toys.

Meanwhile, make sure to collect Atl and LS toys, plus any other toys you don't yet have. Let me know via ICQ when you have bags ready for pickup.

Also, for those who have given me bags and who live on Chessie, can you place a mailbox or two at your house, and then give me a rune to that mailbox? That way I can just let you know when the mail is delivered, rather than try to temporarily store all 21,000 items that'll be flooding into Chessie.

Anyone who missed Hokuto's toy soldiers last time, the clickie is back. It is now located inside the wbb, on the left in back.

Important: for anyone who may be collecting together toys for their guild/etc for transport, this new toy is not 100% identical. The original spells the name "Oy". The new clickie spells it "Toy". It appears that you can only collect from the new clickie if you did not collect one on Hokuto when the box was on top of the wbb.

Hey guys, just an update: with the addition of all the toys, UO at least tripled the number of pickups of items, which eats a lot of time. With those, plus actually packing the transfers, there's just not enough time to also unpack and sort and deliver packages over the next couple days. I'm off work next week for the holiday starting Monday, and will have more time to get everything done all the same day.

This Sunday, I should be able to get enough time to work through the backlog, getting it all sorted so I can start delivering your bags out. Uuntil then, I need to focus on pickups and packing, else I'll run out of time to actually get the transfers done (due to the 24 hr wait/account between xshards).

For the next couple of days, though, please try to hold off on ICQs asking to pick up your bags. I promise I'll be in touch as soon as they're ready.

Posted from my cellphone... My net is down due to weather. Hopefully it'll be back tomorrow. Meantime, I will be doing *final* pickups for Pac, GL, Asuka, Sakura, and Mizho Saturday night, assuming my net is back. If anyone could collect Patience and CK's from them, for all shards, it'd be a great help, as they don't use ICQ / have been having trouble with it lately.

Also, in cooperation with Voodoo, Lexfixr, Lady Lavender, THP, and Lady Damia, we are working on expanding our coverage to *all* shards, but only for toy soldiers. We don't have every shard handled, but if this works, it'll let me additionally get your toys back from Legends, Drach, Sonoma, and LA. We're still working on Arirang, Balhae, Yamato, Baja, Napa, and Oceania. At the moment, though, get them all together on those shards too (green = has toybox); time for collection will be tight if we can make this work. I'll keep you updated!

Net is back! I'll be home around 4 today to make pickups and get all these shards packed and xsharded to catch up with the schedule.

Jut to update:
If you have not yet dropped off, and you want a ride, I need any toys/bags from Pac, GL, and Asuka by 9 EST tonight pm EST.

Then I need Sakura, Mizuho, Drach, Sonoma, and LA no later than 9 pm EST tomorrow night.
IMPORTANT: For Drach, Sonoma, and LA, they're being carried off-shard (to meet me on other shards) by others; *only* toys on those 3 runs!

Legends has not gotten its toybox, but it will also be handled by others to meet me on other shards. So when that toybox hits, snag your toys there and get them to me asap.

EDIT: UPDATE: I forgot to include one shard. Origin also will be a only toys shard, to be dropped off to me on Sunday. That shard will be slow getting back to Chessie, as the carrier is waiting on his shield there. But they'll eventually get back to Chessie towards the end of Jan.

To everyone catching a lift with me, and everyone I'm helping to get toys back from all the various shards:

First my apologies for this delay. I'd been pushing to get every xshard finished, and delivered, before I leave town on the 27th. However, mother nature had other ideas. The ice storm caused significant damage, anbd took out power to a little over 600k people here. I've been without power since Saturday evening, and the power company now tells us it may be until the weekend until we again have power restored - they've so far only managed to get 75k houses back on the grid.

Even if they get my power back tomorrow, that puts us right at Christmas for dropoffs, and I'm not going to make everyone have to choose between family and getting toys/etc dropped off to me. So, I have to make the decision I've been trying to avoid. I will push all pickups and dropoffs until I get back from vacation, on Jan 13th or 14th. If I happen to get power this week, I will happily take any dropoffs I can, but I'm not going to be running any further xshards/dropoffs until I get back in Jan.

For anyone who already has dropped off, or caught a lift on one of the few xshards that has already happened, your items are safe. In this, I thank Rathgar for helping me to make sure a transfer crate got emptied before expiring, after I lost power.

So have a great holiday, enjoy your families, collect every toy, and get in touch with me on ICQ. If I can get your items before I leave, I will. Otherwise, I'll see everyone in the new year for final dropoffs, and very shortly after, be giving you all your toys/etc to play with on Chessie and Atl.
