The event information politics

Iam a bit confused, in the past i saw 3 events all were booring discussions between fictive characters.

But i like action events, like dungeon fights etc. But i cant find information about events anywhere?

I have tried the heralds ingame but there are soo many different types some are telling me about an upcomming tukuno event of last year .

Where can i find an overview of upcomming events and what type they are? Which are story based and overall and which are only on my shard, like booring discussions?

I pay for this service too and want to use it, but i want to see, what awaits me and what is only a 10 minutes meeting at the castle?

Your EMs should have a shard specific website to visit that announces upcoming events. Don't listen to the news people in game, they've been broken (or just possibly neglected to be turned off) for ages.

the use of websites and the exclusion of events from pvpers completely(in the case of some shards) has made event items big money for a small group of xsharding nobodies.

I am not sure I understand your question ,so forgive me if this is not the answer you hoped for .There is not a pre episodes outline for EM events.
There is a stratics EM forum for discussion of events etc.
EM's do a great job taking time and care to construct these events with a scenario. One of the biggest problems with the intro are the hecklers and people who don't give respect and make fun or otherwise interfere with the EM instead of listening and trying to join in the RP .Others can't be bothered saying "just gimme the action".This is really not in keeping with the spirit of the event.
Since we went for so long without additions and story lines ,worried if our beloved game would survive ,it behooves us to enjoy whatever the event is and be Thankful the Elders are adding and improving UO.
