I still gather everything by hand. I only use the EC to do turn ins. I am too lazy to try to setup a vacuum script in EC =p. Until Destard, I also targeted by hand using the mouse. 2800+ drops in Hythloth vs all the EC users with targeting macros.

Scriptures don't need this feature and don't need the EC . This will not fix the issue.

Trying not to be sarcastic: Forced daily client shut downs (every 24 hrs you must exit the game once) with daily hack checks once a day when you boot the client up. A client that only allows pre-made macros with no customization. Everything else it rejects and if it finds any modirications to the client, it shuts the client down - only authorized client will be allowed to even connect.. Then everyone will hate it because your only allowed to use the 3 authorized macros.

Make event items account bound (eggs + rewards). Implement a "second chance" functionality in the UO store to let new players buy old event rewards (at slightly inflated prices).

And to the other one... picking up eggs needs no creating a vaccum macro on EJ, its called "scavenger" , and I believe you just activate its option (on settings)... then pick up each egg type only once to add them to the agent. No Chinese technology involved or master hacker courses...

I use my main character from my oldest paid account to gather eggs, he's called Archangel , so no hiding behind silly new toons. And playing on EC (and playing from Germany on a West Coast Shard, my ping being abysmal), I have yet to encounter any bot, that beats me to those eggs . PERIOD

The arrow keys do not work for movement in EC? My keyboard and gamepad can move my guys around in CC. I could save those movements on either one if I so desired then press a button and they would do it again.

I don't think people realize UO is on a computer.

Egg Scripters aren't using the EC, they're using illegal third party programs in CC. They're 100% automated. They can be sitting there surfing the web, watching porn, or even out of the house at work as an illegal third party program automates the gathering and turning in of eggs for them on 10 different accounts across multiple shards simultaneously.
Getting rid of the "Scavenge" function from EC would just punish the legit players that use it. I use the EC with Pinco's UI for gathering and turning in eggs, i still have to manually recall to the various spots in my Runic Atlas, manually press and hold Ctrl+Shift for the eggs tags to pop up, then manually run close to the eggs for the Scavenger to pick them up. I still have to manually accept the quest from the NPC, then click my macro button for it to toggle the 10 eggs as quest items.
