From what I'm seeing. those only occur when you go below a certain point in that area (down in the hole)... basically the removal of higher, supposedly blocking tiles (like a roof does).

LS shows mostly the same thing with a different portion of tiles disappearing when you go down into the center of the hole the machine is located.

Not really that big of an issue ad doesn't occur all that frequenty or noticeably either.

You'll see more clipping with models and the ground than you will stuff like this.

No that's not showing because I am standing under that spot so it acts like a ceiling does and moves from view.
Look here I moved to a different spot not directly underneath that level:

It's the same effect 2d has when you walk under something.

I just do not understand this. There are so many spots the "story" could unfold and end in.

Magincia is still a mess and now Moonglow too. I just do not understand why.

I know it is just a game, but this is so depressing to me.

I may be completely off-base, but I suspect that there was an intention to refresh to the towns and cities as part of the KR-era overhaul. Given what's happened around New Haven, I was originally thinking that there was also a master plan to slowly transform the Trammel map to break the symmetry with Fel and make the Tram landmasses/cities look more like the Ultima IV-era map. But I assume we would have heard something more about it by this point if that was really the plan.

Supposedly on Baja/Trammel we defeated the "Guardians" thus saving Magincia and ensuring its renewal. I continue to await that renewal!!!

I think it's safe to say that Moonglow has a completely different sort of destruction ahead of it

(They came close to publishing this last year so there are a lot of spoilers known)

Aye agreed, Haven is a mess, *New Haven* so much was lost in what was a great design of the entirety of all of the original Haven. Then Magincia, and now Moonglow. I have two smaller homes on Moonglow, one has vendors, one is just a very scenic lookout point seafarers fishers inn there, just for the view. *sigh*

am reminded of some oldies song where in the name of *progress* one tears down a beautiful natural wildlife forest to put up a butt ugly concrete parking lot, and city dump.

A long long long long time ago we were asked to stress test on TC an event in Moonglow that had the city decaying/falling down. I think it had a paroxysmus spawn there too, though being TC that might just have been a dev messing around.

i think thats the wrong event, the stress tester in moonglow was about the blackrock detector and sum'd up a 3 day event in about an hour NOT leading to any issues with the city of Moonglow as you may be thinking, but leading to a very interesting area..cant really say much without spoiling things! but the way things are looking, and the way the test event went, you really have no worries about the City of Moonglow going in the direction of Magincia, but ya still dont wanna miss it.

I believe most of the Japanese and Korean shards have unique EM or seer-placed items in Moonglow. Not sure how many of the European or North American shards have such items. Will be a real shame if any of those are destroyed. Still wondering what's the status of replacing/repairing those things in Magincia....

The client changes are published before the server (this includes the map changes). Because of this, you may get stuck since the client thinks there is a hole, while the server does not. This will be resolved when the servers are published.

I have it on good authority that Moonglow will not suffer the same fate as Magincia, however, Moonglow may become the starting point of something else entirely...
