EM Event The Cleansing of Bedlam

The fall of the Necromancer's College in Umbra wore heavily upon Master Gnosos. The attempted resurrection of Ilhenir had failed and cost his colleges their very lives and condemned them to servitude.

After ages searching through musty tomes with the Librarian Cohenn, a solution has finally been identified. The spell Gnosos had researched should fully restore the teachers and staff at the Necromancer's College and finally lay Ilhenir to rest.

Alas! as often happens, not everything goes according to plan...

As the spell was cast, Aernya felt the ground beneath her shake as if the undead were struggling to break free of their crypt. The citizens of Umbra cowed in their homes and shops praying for rescue as the undead burst forth. The brave fighters of Siege descended upon the town and after a short battle, the city was free again.

Meanwhile, Master Gnosos struggled to find a way to seal the breach and keep the undead locked within Bedlam again. Until the breach is sealed, we must remain vigilant for another wave could come at any time.

Later that same evening, the undead burst from the ground and a seemingly endless number of them over-ran the city. Once again, the brave fighters of Siege gathered to battle the colleges of Master Gnosos. After gathering at the East and West Bridges, the fighters began to take the town sector by sector and eventually the undead were overcome.

Master Gnosos is still searching for a way to undo the tragic spell that released the cursed upon Umbra.
