The "Classic Shard" argument

I see 532423423 threads in UHall (wow, that place is still full of asshattery) screamin' about a Classic Shard.

Without forcing me to read the nonsense posted there, has there been a dev post at all about it? It seems to me Classic Shard would give the rusty wheels what they want, and it also seems to me that it couldn't POSSIBLY be too terribly hard to create such a shard. It's not like they have to build something 'new' per se.

I'm not sure I'd actually MOVE to a classic shard, but I'd probably create a toon there to mess with from time to time.

Also, let me rephrase, "I would NOT move to a Classic Shard, but I'd create a toon to play there from time to time" (Mainly because "Benevolent Insurgency of Classic Shard" sounds like a fairly lame guild name.)

Trust me they would forget about it ie the dev. team and every publish every new expansion would happen and create bleed thru on so called classic shard.

Siege too is supposed to be a uniquely different shard too, and what they do ? Well that one year, they gifted us all with.........character transfer tokens .........DOH We can NOT use those there. lol

They FORGOT that tiny issue when they created them for every one on every shard and even US on Siege...same would happen with classic shard. So there we all were with gifts of 'character transfer tokens' in our backpacks...which one can NOT use on Siege Perilous at all. Took em a yr. later to figure out a way to let us exchange those wonderous chr. transfer tokens, for something else.

All I know is I am happy to be back again. I know a lot of you folks are jaded, but after 5 years away-- this is the most fun I've had in a long, long time. There's only 7 of us in BiC right now but we are playing every single free moment we have. So much laughter and fun.
