The big merge... Is my EALand sim ok?

The big merge is on its way, and I am getting paranoid! I made a sim in EALand (just one) and want to make sure that my 3 production city sims will make it over safely with slots for each of them. Will my EALand sim block one from coming over? I'd like some clarification. Thanks!

From what we've been told (as of now) you will have 8 slots in EA-Land, regardless of how you use them.
