Skill Jewelry and Form-Changing Spells in Publish 56
I didn't have a version of the question handy, but this has come up a number of times. Currently, if you use skill jewelry to increase your skill, cast a form-changing spell (such as Necromancy's Vampiric Embrace) then remove the skill jewelry, you remain in that form.

This will be changing in Publish 56. What will happen is if you lower your skill past the threshhold to be able to cast that particular form-changing spell, (whether by removing items, using a soulstone, or even using the Test Center set skill command) you will revert to your normal form. This will affect not only the various forms available with Necromancy but Magery (Polymorph,) Ninjitsu (Animal Form,) and Spellweaving (Reaper Form.)

I think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. :)

yeah that makes sense, always did think it was crazy ya could do any of that without the skillz.

Troubling tho, no mention of the upcoming war, no mention of anniversary, (guess we can write that off); no mention of halloween plans, *sighs*

Hopefully its all coming, unannounced and as a surprise.

I thought the introduction of Uber items to faction players was by far the worst thing in the FOF; Again rather then providing context and fixes to factions, they are simply adding new uber items.

From the House of Commons they had...

zigzag - *Zelda* will there be an 11th year vet gift?
Jeremy_EAMythic - We were just plotting today the details of the 11th year vet rewards and other goodies :)

zigzag - *Greg* Are you planning something new for the Halloween content/event? (I'm assuming we're going to have one)
Jeremy_EAMythic - Draconi says "Heck yeah!"
Jeremy_EAMythic - Draconula says "Vewy good..."

I'm sure updates will come to us in due time. It's just a matter of patients and having faith in the small UO team that we have. It's not as big as the other teams so it takes them a little longer to get things accomplished sometimes. I could sit around an complain about this and that not getting done or I could just be happy I still have a game to log into :).

Oh trust me Tov, I am happy to still have a game ;). Gave up trying to quit, just gonna live with the addiction . I've cut back to 4 accounts!:D Not too shabby for someone who quit a year ago *hangs head*

And in all honesty, I seriously feel for the team, and what they ahve to do with the hours and manpower allowed to them. I just tire sometimes of the catch-phrases "we're working on it" "on the radar" "soon" etc etc.

Hey, just come one out and say "Yeah you gonna get it, but it's gonna be at least 6 more months, we will keep ya updated". That's still not a definite, but it's less of a hmmm *searches for wording* brushoff?? than "someday" or "later". LOL, thats what I tell the kids when they're hollerin' to go to Walmart :p

who is Draconula?
My guess is Draconi did his lame Dracula impersonation when he said the "Very Good" part, I heard his Dracula impersonation when I was giving him some idea for future Halloween events at the Columbus, Ohio Town Hall :p.
