Baja buzzes throughout the Rares Community.....

Cant go wrong with that staff.

That all being said, the rares festival on Baja has my complete support, that is an allstar cast, the best crew i have ever seen involved in a rares festival and i would be proud to be a part of it...

Your actually going to find out that there are a lot of people like that on baja. Huge on community participation and zero interest in rares. They'll give a hand just because that's what they do.....

i didn't read any of the posts in this thread, so i'm only replying to the OP -
for a rares fest on Baja after the holidays.

Baja is the best shard in UO.....

I know. There are a lot of powerful collectors in baja.
It is likely to become a best festival.

So at the last festival we did on Chesapeake we revived the old Fred Vs Bob wars which was the most participated and enjoyed event at the festival. I was wondering if maybe we could do something similar.....

Town Guards Vs. The Yatter's Family

(Obviously will need the little cute and precious Yatterings permission, who is the embodiment of innocence..... and the mean cold hearten wicked old man Barackus's permission to use those names.)

Players will make new characters and join whichever side they wish to fight on. If one side greatly outnumbers the other then we will ask some to switch.

Each Guard or Goblin will be issued a number for the prize drawing at the end. You are only eligible to win a prize if you participate, it does not matter if your side wins of not. You still have a chance to win something just for killing Newbs....err "New Characters"

Town criers can release RP reports about the growing tensions between the guards and goblins, can have pre event duels etc. I'm not sure if this would cause issues with current storylines and relations on Baja but I thought I would still suggest it in case its possible to do
