On the Dark Age of Sosaria
"Know this, O' Scarlet Empress, that between the years when the shadow drank Magincia and her gleaming citadels, and the Rise of the Sons of Schezar, there lived an age undreamed of; a time when shining principalities lay spread across this world like blue mantles 'neath an azure sky.
...The Age of the Kingdom of the Blue Rose and the Golden Dawn, protected by its Virtuous Guardians and its Cerulean Sorceress...
...Valderia with her Vampire Knight and his Princess...
...The Queendom of the North with her wandering poets and sorceresses...
...Berg with the young arrowsmith that would one day become a hero...
...Nujel'm with its dark-haired women and dens of devilish delights...
...Tel Mur with its winged demons and mystics...
...Scythe with its halls of depravity and dungeons of immorality...
...Zento with her masked Empress and honorable swordsmen...
...Luna with its scheming tradesmen and fanatical inquisitors...
...But proudest amongst these was Akalabeth, what you know as Britannia, reigning supreme in the dreaming west. Hither came Lord Cantabrigian British, the Champion of White Light, red-haired and sullen-eyed, a sword in hand, a warrior, a prophet, a leader, with great wisdom and great sacrifice he did crush the bejeweled thrones of the pagan sorcerers 'neath his sandaled feet.
This, O Princess, is the story of those murderous fiends and blaspheming upsurpers who would shake Mother Sosaria to her very foundations, and those brave few who would heed the Prophetesses call and rise in her defense."
- Kessell D'Argento in The Chronicles of the Valderians, addressing the Crowned Princess Amber of New Britannia in the Year 777 of Our Lord Cantabrigian.

Introduction -
The Baja Roleplaying & Event Alliance is a community project that began on November 14th, 2007. It was founded by WarderDragon and is co-led by Grand Duchess WildStar of the Kingdom of Dawn. Our goal is to promote roleplaying, storytelling, and adventure on the Shard of Baja.
Mission Statement -
The Baja Roleplayers Alliance [BRPA] exists as a tool for the various roleplaying guilds and communities on our shard to band together, enjoy each others company, and help to build a stronger and more immersive roleplaying community for all players to enjoy. Our main tenants are Respect, Friendship, and Roleplaying.
Our Goals -
1. To promote and encourage roleplaying and storytelling on the Baja Shard of Ultima Online.
2. To promote and encourage the creation of community-oriented events.
3. To facilitate an active and ongoing dialogue between likeminded guilds and communities, effectively breaking down barriers and allowing once isolated roleplayers to interact with one another. We also seek to facilitate an active and ongoing dialogue with the Event Moderator and Developer Team at EA Mythic Studios.
4. To provide a unique backdrop for storylines and roleplaying events, based upon the Ultima Lore but uniquely tailored to Baja's individual flavor; allowing the individual contributions of its members to have a key influence in the storytelling.
5. To create an enviroment that facilitates immersive, ongoing, and most of all enjoyable roleplaying. This will include an ongoing, flexible storyline and backdrop that roleplayers can choose to participate in.
6. To help in the development of new roleplaying guilds, and the promotion of existing roleplaying, semi-roleplaying, and community-oriented guilds.
7. To help those who are interested in roleplaying, or those simply seeking to test the waters, come into a community that is easily accessable, fun to participate in, productive, and flexible.
8. To put our resources and skills togeather, building strength in numbers. Stronger, more powerful and well established guilds are far more capable of hunting high-end spawn than smaller guilds - therefore it is the goal of the community to assist those smaller guilds in hunts and champion spawns.
9. To put our resources to good use, in helping community organizers and groups who seek to develop events (whether they be in-character or out-of-character). The Baja Roleplaying & Event Alliance is not only supportive of the roleplayers on the shard of Baja, but all guilds who seek to better the community through interaction and fun events.
10. To help new players become aquainted with the game, and in turn the shard of Baja.
