The 2nd Moonglow Zoo Society Raffle

Tonight, with the final donations coming from Va'lis, the MZS reached it's second 800,000 Zoo Points mark! This means that it's time for the MZS's 2nd Raffle!

Next Tuesday, instead of a spawn, we will be having the raffle at the MZS Hall in South Luna! Thanks to everyone who has contributed!

Date: Tuesday, March 31st 2009
Time: 8pm EST (Gather at 7:30pm)
Place: MZS Hall, South Luna

1st Place Winner: Choice 400k Points in Zoo Rewards
2nd Place Winner: Choice of 200k Points in Zoo Rewards
3rd Place Winner: Choice of 100k Points in Zoo Rewards

There will be 40 books placed on the Raffle Vendor, each one priced at 1m. If *ALL* the books sell, then the prize money will be divided amongst the winners equally (13m Each).

There was little turn-out tonight, and I thank those who did attend.

I wish I could have made it, but my desktop is in the shop getting a new power supply put in, and my laptop makes playing UO for any length of time unbearable. I haven't even got on to stock my vendors (sorry to anyone looking for bags and powder, questing for stock is out of the question right now). I'll be so happy when I pick it up Friday.

The MZS Hall is a south-facing sandstone in South Luna, beside Tropicana's.

Some books have been bought as of last night, but none today. Tomorrow, I'll be taking the vendor down and holding on to the proceeds from this raffle for our next raffle. Or, I could donate the gold to the Zoo, whichever you all would like

****A warm spring wind whips through the streets of Luna. Three figures walk the road near the MZS building. The one in the green robe replies "Ah, here, there is the vendor selling the books".

With not even a hesitation one of the other two begin emptying their pockets, purchasing all remaining books.

Again the one clad in green speaks "My GOODNESS, you are very charitable! I shall shout out in the streets of the generosity of the MOP".

A hand thrust out from a backpack now erupting with books. "Now, now. Lets not make to big a deal of this." And with a wink of his eye to his beloved, the three part ways.

****Even the stoic guards seem to be smiling as they walk Luna. Spring is budding in Sosaria.****
