As the title says thank you Draconi and the whole dev team. You and your people have been bending over backwards to make the ongoing event work and enjoyable to do. TOT3, the arrival of the Shadowlords again, and the advancement of the story line is great. You deserve to be thanked something that seems to be lacking unfortunately. So I thank you on behalf of, I suspect, a majority of the users who are enjoying what is being done.

I would ask one thing of you Draconi, say no to the people who complain more often. I know you can as I have seen you say no to the brat about the wieldable frying pans enough. I think having the cloaks was a good thing. People would have to make choices and adapt, if they wanted to use them. Cloak or quiver, that is the question. So you changed them to robes and people still complained. Reading some of the complaints I suspect, you like me and a lot of people wonder if the game we enjoy has been taken over by a group of two year olds.

I write this with the hope others will join in thank you and your team for the great job you are doing. I also hope that people read this and realize that you deserve the thank you and not the complaining. I do not think any other MMO has a lead designer or dev team that actually answer and listen to the players as much or as well as you do.

I fully expect to be flamed and accused of trolling, so be it, it does not change my intent. You and your team are doing a great job and the players should appreciate that.

I'm also pleased with the event extension and new story arc. Critics will say that it may have adverse affects on the UO economy...but I say it makes my gameplay experience more dynamic and enjoyable. You've renewed my interest in the game.

I always stand up for the dev team! And now is no exception, I do wish they wouldn't give in to all the complaints, but then I guess the loudest voices get heard. I'm fairly happy with the event, only thing I don't like is when they changed the spawn to every 2 hours they should have kept them all spawning at the same time, no gaps between them. >.> But yea, Way to go devs.

They can flame away and I don't really care. I've never played this game for the pixel crack and I'm not about to start now. Heck, I got a mempo and gave it away to a player who really wanted one. It's been so neat seeing players return who I had always liked. That's the reason I've stayed with UO for over 10 years and it's the reason I'll stay until the lights get turned off. Thank you Devs!!!

I think its going well and i like the 2 hour spawn with 12 it was just to much span for some who have to work and have another life ... just my opinion all in all i give it thumbs up

Seriously though, I've never seen another dev team interact with the players like ours do. The amount of changes they've made at the last minute must have been tons of work, and what do they get for it...

There's nothing much I could add. I agree, the storyline and the regular events are very well thought out and very entertaining. The rewards are nice and not overpowered. (I got 2 cloaks and I'm happy, although I will probably never wear one. Doesn't look good on a pirate, har har!)

I also would like to add my thanks, and think the whole team might need it now when they enter the crunch time before SA goes live. I have participated in the ToT event much more than the previous two and have enjoyed it, not the least to see so many people up and about and to work together on the champ spawn. Also thanks for changing the SL spawn time so more players will be able to at least see one

I've been super happy with the storyline, the hiring of the EM's and each and every one of the EM events, the changes made so far...

Can't say how tickled I am to see some role-play and use of community coming from the EM's and the plot.

And even though I was highly annoyed about that Mempo and how long it took before I finally got one... (after breaking down and buying it)... I love the Mempo... I've enjoyed the return of ToT... I love the the new dyes.

I too want to say a huge Thank you. I'm happy to see some old friends back enjoying the lands again. I only hope it can continue.

By now, many of you may have noticed the new banner splashing across the top of the uo.com site, Live Events 2008! I’m especially excited about our plans for this year, and even more so about the event arc we’ve just begun: Warriors of Destiny.

Based off the contents of Ultima V, in which Britannia and the Virtues are utterly betrayed, this event arc ties together many threads from our past and forges a future where order and chaos are pitted once more against each other. Old and new enemies alike are reaching out to ensure Britannia meets her fate.

Everyone will be free to choose their alignments, and I’m sure the loyal Warriors of Destiny won’t be the only group to be titled for their deeds…

The Shadowlords, long displaced from the shards of Sosaria, have at last found their way home through the machinations of one dedicated follower. The blackrock detector, a beacon of hope for the government against the insanity gripping the land, instead opened a rift directly to the ethereal void. yup .. well said. I had my doubts when Mythic became involved and it was rocky but it's a MAJOR improvement in quality.

It makes a difference. I actually re-started my characters and am figuring out how to accomodate a Gargoyle in the mix! The latest updates to SA pages made me reconsider my sins!

I began playing UO in '97 with my mother, brother and stepfather. Years later, they've moved on and left me their things, but many of my fond family moments were formed in this game... and I thank the entire Dev Team for keeping it kicking.

I introduced my husband to UO when I met him in '06, and we even were in the middle of a Mel run when he proposed on NYE... (side-by-side computers ftw) so this game will always be very special in my heart.

I'm doubly thankful to the change in the SLs' schedule, I didn't expect to be able to participate with the original schedule (need to work through the next few weekends due to a merger) - I finally got my mempo from one of them, so the wife can't brag all day now about her getting both
