I read Cal's letter and Draconi's post with an excitement that I hadn't felt in a while as to the future of UO. Besides the fact that both of them have a sense of humor that made me laugh out loud, it seemed clear to me that they want to see UO succeed.
I have been playing this game for almost 9 years since my sons "willed" it to me upon leaving the nest. Maybe it's just my personality but though some changes to the game were troublesome, I've always just rolled with the punches and made the best of them. I think that with a little patience, this Dev team can make UO the equivalent of that old chest stored in a shed. When you clean off the dirt and cobwebs, you see that it's quite a find.
Thank you, Cal and Drac, for not giving up on this game. I can't wait to see how you guys tie 2 years of 'random events' together! As a plus, I'll finally be able to clear my bank boxes of ophidian rations, rat coins and drops from the recent event!
