Sorry for the short notice on this announcement.
We are pushing ahead with our plans for Felucca PvP based events. The first one we will be trying is Blood League.
Blood League is a round robin tournament based on teams of three and randomly drawn themed matches. We are looking at holding the event either next week, or the week after. However it will be important to get the mechanics of the themed matches correct and fair. So this Saturday 19th at 7:00pm PST we will be running a round of tests on the eight match types we are hoping to include in Blood League.
Date : 19th Saturday, 7:00pm PST
We'll be gathering at the Felucca EM Hall in Britain
Please note this is a testing event only, so not an actual adventure event.
We need players to come out and try the themed matches, then provide feedback for suggestions and changes. At the very least we will need two teams of three, so six volunteers minimum.
The following match themes will be tested. The description is brief at best, there are several factors of each match not listed. A fuller description will be posted with the announcement of the Blood League event.
1. Mortal Relay
Description : The first team are the runners, while the other team obstructs. The total time is recorded to complete the course is recorded and then the teams switch. The team with the fastest time wins.
2. Elf-ball
Description : Each team is given a set of 3 cursed items. The object is to get all the other team's items and get out of the room. There is a one-way gate leading out of the room.
3. Gorilla Guard
Description : Two super gorillas are placed in the sealed room. Each team is assigned a gorilla to protect. The first team to kill the other's gorilla is the winner.
4. Snake Pit
Description : Teams enter an area and must seek out a set number of specific items. The items are on snake-type mobs spawned in the area. Teams must gather ten of these items and get out first.
5. Best Of Three
Description : Three duels between the three team members from each team. Before each duel the team writes the name of the player to fight in a book and hands it to the EM. Winner is the best of three.
6. Stone Haul
Description : Each team has a three-tile lockdown station at opposite ends of the room. Heavy stones appear one at a time in the middle (700+ weight) of the room. Each team must try to haul the stones to their station and place it on an open tile. The EM will then lock the stone in place and after 30 seconds another stone will appear in the middle. The first team to get all three stones on their tiles wins.
7. Orcish Bar Brawl
Description : A straight team on team brawl in a bar setting with a bunch of NPC orcs. Last team standing wins. There is a one-way gate out to a resurrection area. EM’s will also transfer fallen members out.
8. Twin Treasures
Description : The two teams compete to be the fastest to complete an imitation t-map. Both maps are done simultaneously and are in the same enclosure. Located in a sealed area, using 4 guardian spawn for initial chest opening, and then adding spawn as chest is looted. Each team’s spawn is hued for that team. Chest must be emptied and all spawn killed to win.
