Test Center 1 - Planting Seeds in Magincia

Warning: Right now people can DESTROY your plants by using a chat command. It forces a growth day to take effect and since the plant isn't being tended for it will DIE.

Here are the steps to plant a seed in Magincia.

Step 1: Get a seed.
The quickest way to do this is to go to a bank and say "give seeds". A green box will appear in your bank which contains three bags of seeds.

If you want a yellow, red, or blue seed you can go out and kill boglings and bog things. They are found in swamps.

If you want an aqua, megenta, pink, or teal seed you will have to run the seed quests.

And if you want other colors you will probably have to find a gardener from the Great Lakes shard (Since Test Center 1 is a copy of Great Lakes)

Step 2: Get a hoe.
There doesn't currently appear to be an NPC selling hoes right now so go near the docks on the south side of Magincia and you will see a bright neon blue ice colored yucca tree (You can't miss it!) Double click the tree to get a hoe.

Step 3: Get a water pitcher.
While you are near the yucca tree be sure to stop by the tavern (directly below the yucca tree) to purchase a pitcher of water.

Step 4: Time to plant!
Double click your hoe and click where you would like to plant your seed. You can plant your seed almost anywhere in Magincia on a grassy area. There is also a little area with planters you can plant in if there is an empty space.

Once you click the ground a mount of dirt will appear. Use your water pitcher on it 3 times to soften the dirt. Then double click your seed and click the mound of dirt.

That's it. Your done for today. Be sure to check back on it everyday and take care of it by watering it and using potions. It will take about 8 days for it to grow into a plant.

Now you have to wait 4 days to plant another one with that character. But feel free to plant another seed with a different character.

So whats the point of growing a plant in the town? You have to keep track of where it is, you have to bring all the water and potions on each char, and you can only do 1 per char. Sounds like alot of trouble when you can you can plant a ton of them in the comfort of your own home.

It is part of a community effort. You also will have your name on it. Additionally, you may actually get to talk to someone while caring for your plant.

You left out a part. Once the plant is fully grown you can choose to set it to decorative. Doing so removes it fro the landscape and places it in your pack. it keeps the extra tags it had as a plant on the ground and gains another "harvested on" date tag.

Griefers aside, OP also forgot to mention the phrase used to grief: grow_plant

Say that in game until your plant is Stage 9 (it's really annoying, you have to basically close the plant gump then re-open it nine times to see if you have to feed it pots and such, but you can get your Test Center plant in 10 seconds this way).

Oh, also, it's Test Center. Losing stuff on Test Center isn't really a big deal, rofl. Production won't have that issue.
