Terathans in Blackthrons Castle in Britain

I obviously missed some event in my absence. What's the deal with this. While I'm on it why is Lord British's catle full of spiderwebs? I presume it is for the same reason Blackthrons Castle is full of Terathans.

Left over from an event before the event people were removed from the game (stupid stupid stupid move).

Cobwebs are the fun part though. Kind of reflects the attitude to world events which brought a fair bit of life to the game world.
