Yes it would have been a good spot to grow a Christmas tree and have had an event. Not many times New Magincia has had things happen.

The New Magincia tree, some people certainly enjoyed giving bods to make that pretty tree or they wouldn't have done it. Some are trying to collect as many gifts and different boxes as possible. I do not believe it was a waste.There is no shortage of bods or resources to fill them. As a friendly holiday bet Max, I will wager 1 million gps , that the next city, which I believe is Skara will have a full tree! Merry Christmas!

Not a waste at all, I still have 41 Lbod for the Skara tree and it not all cheap tailoring, a few are colored smith Lbods, I believe I counted the banking points to around 4700 so I will do my part of the Skare tree too, i may get a few more Lbods before saturday.
Waste? I got gift on 6 chars out of 7, so not a waste. Only reason I want to help getting the Skara tree done with a star on top is to give everyone a chance for a gift, all they need to do is to get 0.1 scribing, claim a scribe bod and fill it with potions brought on the vendor and give it to the elf.

I only need one red pillow to have a full set of 16 rewards, they may not be worth all the gold/mills this event costed me, but money is not all. It had been great to see Siege work together to bring some Christmas love to the shard.
