Currently i am:

Sword-120
Tact-120
Anat-120
Parry-120
Heal-100
Chiv-100
Focus-40

Stats are:106Str, 125dex, 24 int

I am 141 Str 152 dex 40mana with suit on

I will use great dragons as example. I have an all 70 suit, i use a shiled with 13dci and 15rpd, The Dragon Slayer Longsword. I do EOO, CW, and still i cant beat a Greater Dragon. What seems to be the problem is how hard they hit, not there magic. I heal constantly. I have 45%HCI total as well. I seem to do 100avg per hit. What am i doing wrong here? I can take on like 3-4 regualr dragons at once no problem. Please Help

Well what are you using in terms of SSI on your weapon? Just a regular longsword is too slow. What modifications does the weapon have on it? e.g. If it is just a plain weapon it won't be doing you much good...slayer or not.

Also as a side note, a regular dragon compares in no way to a greater dragon. A couple hits even with a not so good slayer weapon and a regular dragon is done for.

Other than that as far as what I am thinking about at the moment, are you fighting these one on one? Tactics play a huge part. Pre-casting close wounds, hitting heal macro pre-emptively.

Their bite and fireball combo is deadly. Awaiting your thoughts.

Well it is the Artifact called the Dragons End. I am 154 Stam when everything is full. Idont precast CW but i heal constantly. i only have 40 mana so that can go fast. yes i am fighting one on one. withmy friend who is an archer we take them down fast. But i am trying to see what i can do one on one. i hear of alot of people taken on peerless bosses one on one. So i figure is hould be able to do this.

Should i use a much faster weapon with SSi like Scimitar or Katana? Let me know. Thanks

First, buy a boat. Second, put dragon's end in a strongbox and the strongbox in the boat. Third, sail way, way far out into the sea and anchor your boat. Fourth, recall to town and drop your bank ship key into the nearest trash receptacle.

When you've finished that, grab a nice fast weapon with hml and hll (hopefully dragon or reptile slaying). It can't cast firebreath constantly (you know, the attack that does 60 damage). When you get hit with firebreat, run away, heal up, and run back.

Yes ditch the weapon you are currently using. Katana's are nice weapons as a swords user especially when you have a dragon or reptile slayer with some SSI, DI, HML, and then whatever else is needed (HSL is nice).

Once you get through their initial mana dump or fireball attack and get all setup, you can start wacking their life down.

I would try to figure out a way to get more mana in terms of adjusting your stats or looking at your equipment setup. My dexxer for example runs with more than twice that amount of mana and I can just straight-up armor ignore them 3 or 4 times. By then, that is about half of the greater dragon's life gone already.

The trick with dragons (any of them), is to quickly whittle their life down. Once their life is low, they are no longer a force and on the defensive.

By the way, it is a good idea to practice the precasting tactic. Since you aren't using confidence, precasting + pots + bandages = about all damage negated if you're doing everything right.

If not doing correctly, well...you will die pretty fast.
