Template Help! 70 skills left

Hello

I have about 720 total cap with the following skills:

115 Med
110 Magery
110 Eval
100 Focus
100 Necro
110 SS

I do have a soulstone with 120 magic resist on it...other friends told me to get into spellweaving.

I have about 70 skill points left, I was thinking of maxing out resisting spells, and dropping some meditation...I will get a crystaline ring (once i can afford one) soon, and will return the meditation loss once the magery/focus are gained.

This charater will be used for peerless/champs bosses...

Try that. No real need for focus, in wraith form youll leech pretty much all the mana you need and the Stam regen, its just not worth using 100points in focus for. You can drop necro to 105 and, once you get the crystaline either use a -20mage weap or, drop mage to gm (120 with ring) and put the 35points in focus, thus giving you 55focus. That gives you 5stam regen and 2ish Mr bonus.

Magic resist is pretty much no use then?

I take pretty good damage off spells, but while also melee attacks, I can outrun with my ethy.

All magic resist will do is stop you getting poisoned every time, as well as reducing the duration of paralyse/de-buffs. It doesnt reduce the damage you take just the intensity of de-buffs.

For a strictly PvM scenario its not really needed, in my opinion i would rather do as much damage as is possible. However, its personal playstyle, if you prefer to run with magic resist by all means do. It is still a nice skill to have, as i said i personally like to have the max damaging template.

Well I agree with you, if magic resist doesnt reduce damage, then by all means I would rather beef up on damage.

I willl try that template...although its a very expensive no? 120 scrolls here for magery goes over 8mm alone.

Have you tried that template against peerless bosses?

There not cheap but you dont have to go to 120straight away, just aim to...until then you can keep the skill in focus or w/e and just lower it as and when you can afford the scrolls.

110is fine to start with. I dont use this template as unfortunatly my mage has gone red, but, one of my guild uses this template and can outdamage(providing slayer) sampires. With a high level focus (arcane focus, its a spellweaving spell) you will (in wraith form for 0mana cost) be hitting for around 400hp a spell(word of death)

0 mana cost in wraith form? So theres no need to bulk up armor on LMC?

I just got back from a 5 year break...never had sw or necro before.

Total: 700.

Pretty maxxed out damage output but no defensive ability so you will get hit with every hit. You want to use a Slayer Spellbook on every boss that has slayer vulnerability and Scrapper's/-mage wep on bosses that dont have a slayer vulnerability.

Personally I would drop spellweaving and get 120 wrestling OR 80 Anatomy and put rest of the points to Focus. SW does offer some nice stuff but the tradeoff (WoD vs. Defensive skill) is pretty big as well. If you're doing Peerless bosses you will most likely have a tamer or two tanking the bosses with their pets so you shouldnt get hit much, though.
