Teleporters problem

I've got a custom 3 story house, but wherever I put teleporters I can move between floors but can't move away from the teleport tile

Is it a bug or could I be doing something wrong

Would laying a floor tile first cause a problem ?

If you have floor tiles that are "non navigational" - that is water, fire, poison - you will not be able to step on that tile. Can you post a pic of your floor?
