Technical question: Text speed

Is there a way to make the text related to game mechanics to vanish from our screen faster?

example: msg to honor, ...

But keep the dialogue text related on screen?

do they have different controls?

Assuming you play 2D, in the Options screen under the Eyeball tab - scroll down to where it says "Adjust how long speech remains on screen" and slide that up or down to the desired length. Also, there's a button below that so text which is shorter drops off quicker and longer sentences stay longer. I adjust this pretty frequently when I'm reporting on events for screenshots.
