Technical question.. need technical advice

I have some sort of display problem that causes my screen to flash every time I double click in game. On the taskbar my client opens and closes whenever I double click in game and the in game screen flashes. My video driver is up to date and I have no idea what is causing this. Any ideas?

nevermind I checked the compatibility box and checked run this program in windows xp mode and it fixed it. I guess its a windows 7 glitch.
