TC3 or EA Land??

Ok..I'm REALLY curious here. Do you only play in TC3 or only play in Ea Land or do you play them both equally and WHY do you prefer it that way.
My original sim was created in TC3..then my curiousity got the best of me so I went to Ea Land since before the merge. Now today, with all of the garbage going on I decided to go back to TC3 to test drive all of these new features. Everyone there insists that TC3 is WAY better than EA Land..and vise versa...thoughts please!

I was in TC3 till EAland opened and have been almost always in Ealand since, just seemed to be where everyone was. A week or so back when EAland was offline I went to TC3 and it felt like I was on a whole different planet....it was kinda whacky...one person that came into my house just walked around saying lalalalalala. I dont' know if its a kind of british sense of humour thing or if there is really something alien to me over there. I would visit TC3 more but patching always scares me that I will not be able to make it back (wormhole).

Yep...exactly how I feel....2 totally differant planets. It's strange because before the merge we all had sims in differant cities because we liked each city for its own reason, but we still had our favorite one....now with these 2 cities..I'm clueless!!

I play EAL mostly, but its because its sorta the capitol of the EA world. I play TC3 occasionally, but usually only when I can't get to EAL. Its kinda like playing in the old test center when you could play in one of the cities. I have nothing against it, I just prefer the mainland.

I played in TC3 a lot when Blazing Falls seemed to be "dying." Now I play almost exclusively in EA Land.. I'd be more likely to switch back and forth if there wasn't a huge download involved every time.

I play in EA Land.

I'm not sure why I don't play in TC3 because I use to love living in the original TC

Who knows, lol?

Anyway I like playing in EA Land, i feel like there are always a lot of people playing

EA Land mostly. I have all my job track sims there. I always thought TC lived under the threat of a wipe, and what would really be the point of it, ya know? I have several sims there, and it is just 'different' there. Not bad, just different.

No secret here, I'm an almost 100% exclusive TC3 player. I started there before EA Land ever opened up, and then tried EA Land for a while.....but I always go back to TC3. For me it *is* two separate worlds, especially attitude-wise. I guess it's because the city has mostly free players, but there just seems to be alot more optimism and 'upbeat' personalities there, and an eagerness to learn AND find people who are willing to take time to explain things and answer their questions without being condescending or treating them as if they have the intelligence of Forrest Gump. That and when it comes to skilling I find alot less of the afk epidemic there. In EA Land that seemed to carry over from the production cities. Again that might be because the city has mostly new players so the *shine* hasn't worn off yet, but it's refreshing to be able to pass the time talking to 8-10 people in a house at a time.

Normally a TC3 player but lately been exclusively EAL. Trying to get sim on the top of the job track and ya can't do that if your not there.

When I first started back in the day TC was my first and only home for 2 yrs.

I'm also 99% TC3 player, i think im the only few ones would actually defend TC3 lol, still these 2 cities are very different like some have said already, i wouldn't tell which one is better because i think they are better in his own way, now some ppl really love TC3 for their latest cutting edge feature/bugs and then always having some funny moments. Others just like EAL for being always bug free and the community is quite large, less rude ppl because there is fewers or almost none free players, finding someone you know again is quite widespread, TC3 is like a tiny island having a constant immigration.

And sorry for my bad english.

I used to play in BF till it got really boring, I then went over to AV then over to TC3 and stayed there till EAL opened.

I logged back into TC3 a few days ago (after the posts about the differing skill speeds) and skilled a while at 120% on old sims and 144% on newly created ones.

To be totally honest I dont think Ill be going back to TC3 anytime soon unless I wake up and find I have learnt a few new languages in my sleep, then maybe I'd be able to actually talk to some of the players there

The only bits I understood were 'clear your plates' 'i need social' and 'food'

Hehehe...they should make it like Sims makin' magic and put a little black hole on our properties so we can bounce back and forth between cities and go visit without logging out! It would never work but cool idea eh!!??

I play both but not equally. I play EA Land mostly. Lately since they fix the window res in TC again I have been there but then I get bored again and go back to EA. I like having the option to play in both places.

Only EA Land these days. I played in TC3 before all the merges started, but now I can't really be bothered with the big patch to get into TC3 everytime.

*TTL*

I have been in EAL 99% of the time. The last time I was in TC3 was when EAL was down for 24 hours. It does have a different feel to it. Being an EAL player, going to TC3 I don't know the houses or people that I know in EAL. Yes, I know almost everyone has a sim in both, but it just doesn't feel like home to me.

I played in AV for most of my sims life. It was hard adjusting to EAL but eventually I did. Maybe I need to start splitting my time between EAL and TC3.

I just recently started splitting my time between the two and ya know, it's like playing 2 differant games. Kinda refreshing.

What has a british sense of humour got to do with the way people/sims behave in TC3?????

As a free player, I play exclusively in TC3. I found the one time I went to EAL just to check out a couple of lots (couldn't go to much) I wasn't received very kindly, and honestly I've found the same kind of differences in attitude here.

I'll be a member next week most likely, and will still play exclusively in TC3. I only play one sim, my property I'm trying to get off the ground is there, and all my friends are there.

My point exactly from my previous post! The reason there are more players in TC3 is simply because 'free players' get to do everything they can do in EAland for free! Subscribers, are playing switching to TC3 and going 'free', afterall why pay for something you can get for free elsewhere? EAland was buzzing when it opened, the poor cities were left out in the cold after merging and now the whole land seems to be going the same way. If EA don't either stop 'free play' altogether and go back to 'free trial' OR stop free players being able to skill and make money in TC3 (making it the same for them as in EAland) this new land is going to sink, fast! Maybe that was the plan all along, maybe they just wanted to let us down gently and squeeze the last few dollars to compensate their financial loss???? Who knows

Oh, I play in EAland 99.99% of the time, only visit TC3 if EAland is down for any length of time, just doesn't feel like 'home' to me

I have to be completely 100% honest and I'm sure I'm far from the only one out there to think this....but I have SERIOUSLY been contemplating knocking my paid accts down to free ones and just playing in TC3. I mean why would you pay for something you can get for free?? It doesn't make any sense. Especially since now it seems as is TC3 is way more populated than EAL. We all know how much more exciting it is to log into a city where the map is totally lit up as oppossed to one that has 3 or 4 properties open. I have been thinking all along that EA wants to do away with most of the original features of the game and is trying very hard to be just like SL. Think about it. The weekly allowance to paid customers...SL has it...the custom content used to help give the game its own personality...SL has it...the ability to buy funds...SL has it. I really think its a competition thing. TSO started nose diving exactly as SL was taking off and the TSO players were coming right out and saying they cancelled their accts to go to SL and were just finishing out their game play until their billing period was up.
