Tattered wall maps problem!

I'm trying to make a tattered wall map from the tmaps i been digging up.


But i keep getting a message that i need more level 3 maps that have been completed by me. Of course i have more then enough level 3 maps in my backpack.


Anyone else having/had this problem?

Very important question first: were you the very first to decode the maps? This has been a reported problem if you weren't the map's original decoder...

Rules (some undocumented ones, I'm sure) to successfully create a wall map are:
- all maps were tattered and not previously decoded.
- the character that's making the wall map is the one who decoded and dug up all the maps.

If the above is the case, my next question would be: were any of the maps you've tried creating the map with "new", or were they "old" maps, where new means new random spot maps? Facet shouldn't matter. I have, on many times, mixed and matched Trammel and Felucca maps to create a wall map...

I almost have all the maps ready to try and create a tattered wall map. I only need to complete the level 1's and I'll be set, and I will hopefully be able to do that this evening...

I'm the only one who decoded them and dug them up.


I think its a mix from old and new maps.

Ok i got it.


Seems that old and new decoded maps don't mix for the wall maps.

Guess we need to test this, otherwise we won't be able to make new Tattered Wall Maps when we run out of "old" maps...

Devs? We can haz code check?

You can make tattered wall map from all new decoded maps or from all old decoded maps. But for some reason the menu don't like to mix old and new ones together.

The same thing happened when the Tattered maps were introduced - they wouldn't use ones decoded before the code to make them was added.
