Tanabata (Festival of the Stars) Being Celebrated on Japanese Shards

Here's a nice explanation of what the day is all about: Japanese Culture Tanabata Star Festival Summer Love Story . It certainly explains the decorations you see around the central section of Zento. Very cool.
EM Nekomata on Mizuho is busy at this moment adding to the decorations in Zento. I'm not sure if the decorations he's putting in the bamboo are coming from players or where he's getting them from. Also, some people have written notes in the books in the bamboo (tanzaku).
