Assistant Head Cheerleader/Security/Resident Wonder Chicken: Handalf (AfK)

It was a particularly warm Sosarian night as a group of dedicated tamers gathered for the weekly taming hour. A few had been wrangling animals before the official start time, and Baja's own grand chickenmage, Handalf, was also in attendance.

Though numbers were initially small, more tamers arrived as the evening passed. A few minor injuries were reported as the drakes brought in were being unusually cantankerous this night. However, undaunted and unafraid, the tamers headed back to wrangle more of the scaled, winged beasties.

In addition to providing security, Handalf also flapped his wings, strutted about and cheered. Perhaps there is a tailor out there talented enough to craft small pom-poms for him.

The winner of the zoo prize this week, a Shadow Cloak of Rejuvenation, went to James (MT). And a very generous check was donated by a zoo benefactor, Taliesin. Congratulations to James and many thanks to all of the tamers who came to support Baja's zoo.

There is no taming hour next week, the 4th of July (holiday in the U.S.) but we'll see you the week after on July 11th!

Proserpina also offers her apologies for the lackluster cheering these past couple of weeks. She's been busy training and preparing young necromancers for their end-of-the-year trials. (And I promise a very wild cheer for July 11th!)

GO TAMERS! *throws dread pom-poms into the air*

Thankye, Proserpina. See you in two weeks, tamers!
