Taming GGS at 120 (113 real) : where is it best at ?

I have been trying to slowly get my taming up (113 real, 120 with jewels) using GGS.

So far using Cu-Sidhes but I found myself wasting an unreasonable time for a mere .1 GGS point.

On average it cost me because of fails and all that a good half hour of my daily gaming time and on a bad day it can get quite worse like evn 45+ minutes for a mere .1 GGS Gain.

At 113 real (120 with jewels) is there a better place and target I can get my daily GGS faster?

I tried bulls and great harts with which I thought it would have worked way faster but they gave me no GGS gain at all. Am I stuck with Cu-Sidhes or I have other better options ?

Thanks.

I hope you know, that GGS is slower than 1 gain per day in that skills height? If not have a look at http://www.uoherald.com/guide/guide.php?guideId=22 for your personal timer.
Myself I am going for ki-rins. Those should be faster to gain and I usually donate them to the zoo. (Doing for 2500 - 10.000 points depending on my mood.) I get my GGS usually very fast but I am also only going only every couple of days for taming.
You can stick to cu's. maybe you are lucky to get one of the rare colours. (If that is your going.) It wouldnt make sense, to train the skill up somewhere else and trying afterwards to pop a nice colour.

Gains will be very slow at that level, which is why folks move to tame animals to turn in at the zoo or in my case I tame cu sidhe not specifically for gains, but because they come as I'm doing something my tamer wants to do - find new pets for selling or keeping. It saves splitting time between training and being a tamer, assuming one of those activities appeals to you. It might be that you want to find a perfect rune beetle instead... whatever :)

Ridgebacks are another option for gains, but it'll still be slow. Without items you'd probably gain on unicorns/kirin and you can turn them into the zoo.

But the thing is, at that level you can either go pick up GGS gains only or you have to stop worrying how long it's been between gains. It will be very slow at your level, you'll maybe get lucky breaks along the way, but that's just how it is.

Unicorns or Kirins far North of Malas. (A cross the rope bridge).

Tame one and donate them too the Zoo. Keep doing that back and forward can also give you good gains but also some nice Zoo Armor in the end. :)

I tamed more then 11K of Unicorns to get a complete suit of Zoo armor. I was long Legendary before i even got all pieces.

Ridgebacks are the way I did it. You can actually power it through with the right method. I was gaining .3 to .4 per hour using this right up to 120.

I dont know if it still works though...

Put on some savage kin paint.

Go to the Savage village in Ilsh. At the very south of the village is a ridgeback pen, which spawns 2 ridgies. Attack a couple of savages and drag them down to the pen. Once there, lose aggro.

Then, tame the first ridgie ... as soon as you tame it, the savages will attack and kill it in a matter of seconds. Meanwhile ... youve started taming the second ridgie. Again, as soon as you tame it the savages will attack and kill it. By this time the first ridgie will have respawned. Rinse and repeat.

I could tame around 4 ridgebacks per minute using this method. Thats a lot of ridgies per hour ... you can easily hit 200 per hour. Its pretty boring and I could only stand it for 1 or 2 hours at a time but the gains were great simply because of the quantity.

Again im not sure if this method still works or not.

Ridgebacks will still get you gains.

Outside of the camp I tame then release the dire wolves and they won't attack me again. After taming a ridgie I set it on a dire and head for the next. My spellweaver allures a savage and then uses that hehe. Prepare for questions to be asked about why the savage isn't attacking you though :D
