Tamer, template and guide?

Hello,
i am thinking about making a tamer character, do u think that these skills are a good choice?

Animal Taming : 120
Music :100
Animal Lore : 100
Veterinary :100
Peacemaking:100
Archery / Magery / Provocation/ other: 115 (what better or funnier?)

Chivalry (heal and traveling) : 80 (or less? 65 is high enough to res?)

what do u think? please tell me.

And second, i have read a lot of guides about taming, but most of all are very old, and the list of animals and monsters too, i have read recently that north of sacrifice shrine in ilshenar is a good place to begin,

better of all is to get the highest possible values in others in haven? or better no to train anything and go to tame with a low total skill points?

You might give some thought to magery at least enough to gate those newly tamed pets to the stable.

I like the Tamer/Bard template the best but you need SoulStones:
Taming 120
Lore 120
Vet 110 (120 with Enhanced Bandages)
Discord 120
Peace 120
Music 120
Chiv 40-50 (for healing/curing me!)

That's with skill buffing items, of course.

Sometimes the Vet is replaced with Magery when I need to gate a fresh tame out. Sometimes Peace is replaced with Resist.

When Taming a critter that can really hurt me, I start with a Discord (reduces their ability to hurt me by 28%) and follow with a Peace. Some orthodox Tamers scorn this method but it is very effective.

When fighting PVM, Discord makes it possible to kill critters faster for farming or to take on much tougher stuff for the challenge. Peace can help in crowd control. I often hunt where my pet can handle one at a time but not two.

It is a very powerful template but also very hard to train.

45 chiv-with jewelry bringing it up to 60 for close wounds,cleanse by fire
and remove curse

second template is:

105 taming-110 with talisman
120 lore
120 vet
100 magery-110 with jewelry
115 music-still trying to get a 120 scroll
110 peace-120 with jewelry
the rest is in focus

third template is:

105 taming-110 with talisman
120 lore
120 vet
115 music-still trying to get a 120 scroll
110.2 discord-120 with jewelry
100 magery
the rest in focus

fourth template is:

110.2 taming
120 lore
120 vet
100 lockpicking
100 cartography
110 magery
55 chiv-70 with jewelry for close sounds, cleanse by fire, & remove curse

(i have 115 music and 115 peace on a soulstones for this character, when im not using it to do Treasure Maps.)

but... is it more important for you vet and lore than taming? The % of taming a strong beast will be very low, is'n it?

I think the reason why the Taming is so low on Moburto's templates is that a 120 Taming PS is a LOT more expensive than a 120 Lore or 120 Vet, not that they WANT to keep it that low.
