I decided to share a moment from my earlier tamer UO history
This happened back in the age of shadows expansion or maybe the samurai one.
My guild decided to do a champ spawn in Ish and chose the valor spawn. I don't remember which champ was active but I was running into the altar to see how far along we were. I had my dragon following me but with all the spawn the dragon kept running around tring to kill random things. I was repeating the "all follow me" as I moved tring to drag my dragon thro the spawn. I ended up getting a few screens ahead of him cause he was having trouble follow me. I stopped waited a few seconds for him to catch up and he didn't come.
I decided to run back and grab his attention again. I ran back found him and once again started repeating the "all follow me" and the dragon slowly started walking to me growling a lot. He walked up to me and took a bite out of me which took me by surprise. It was about this time I realized this wasn't my dragon it was just a random wild spawned dragon that just happened to be the same color and in the same area mine was in.
I ran away and found my real dragon off fighting something. The moral of the story is always make sure the pet ur give orders to is ur actual pet.
If anyone else has some oops tamer moments i'd love to read them
