Talisman slayers : do they help pets in their fights ?

If a tamer is wearing a slayer talisman, does the pet fighting get help (and also takes extra damage from opposing monsters...) from the slayer talisman ?

Go test it, thats what someone else would have todo to answer the question for themselves, it would take like 2 minutes, less time than it probably took you to find the forum and write this post...

That way they could come to the forums with "usefull" information to help others instead of being lazy and just asking EVERYONE else to go test it....!

Grab a slayer talisman... Go to a dongeoun with that critter...... equip the talisman.... kill a mop.... un equip talisman..... kill a few more..... see what those little red numbers that pop up say.... and then you will know if its works or not..............

Thanks for the answer though, I do not understand why they should not work.

I mean, the bonus damage done does is countered by the extra damage received from the opposing monsters.

If this balancing works ok for characters I do not see why it should not also work just fine for pets......

Talisman only work for melee characters only. Not even mage spells benefit from them; however, if the opposing creature type attacks you directly you take double damage.

*shrugs* Not something I've ever felt the need for tbh.

Look at your pets strengths and weaknesses and match them appropriately to the monster's your fighting. It isn't quite the same as a slayer, but it works pretty well.

Regarding the increases damage effects form your attacks, Slayer Talismans work for Archery, Swords, Fencing, and Macing. I suspect they work for Wrestling too (don't have a wrestler). They do not work for spells.

Regarding the increased damage you take from the opposing slayer groups, everyone is equal.
