But yah..I'll never understand PvPers who enjoy zergs, nor anyone who believes in "winning at all costs." That's not what the game is about. It's about a good fight. Why is it only fun for so many people if they win? And I think you can include many if not most of the people in your guild (KOC right?) as having the same mentality as those in 20 guild alliances...

let me explain. jsv kept getting killed and were quite sad about it. so they were thinking why that could be. they all agreed that they need more meatshields. and another guild that kept getting killed was added to their alliance with hope that things would change. it didnt so they still recruiting and adding xD
I will bet anyone 100 million UO gold that TNT/MYTH will not ally JSV or any named zerg with their basic players in it. I will go through any broker for this bet and will post it in gold or RL cash. Pick a time frame and bring your money.

Also several of our members have moved on to other games, others shards, other servers, other guilds, and real life interests. We tried the big Alliance thing and did not really like it much.

i think ill take anyones bet, as long as the timeframe is the next 200 years. sounds like full of win

yes we are a big alliance however i would say we are far from zerg . most of are members ARE crafters and pvm .

many of us are up and coming straight outa NEW greenhorns . we try to learn pvp and as a result many of us just get in the way . there are actually very few "true pvpers" on the field.
those that do pvp on a regular basis certainly would enjoy a full fledged "war" rather than small skirmishes.
so theres one reason for wanting more poeple .
annother reason is no matter how many go to the front tnt and koc always seem to come together to fight us . true you fight each other but it seems we are the prefered targets whenever possable.
poeple just love to hate us , and i for one cant see why . we hold alliance mates to the highest standards . we do not kill innocents , we do not cheat , and appart from a bit of good natured trash talkin and the whole ed thing . (which i must point out he WAS punnished for) we are NOT jerks . how many of you can say the same ?
the only reason i can see for the hatred is that verum and the boys flat out own you , and you cant stand it.

you dont seem to understand the term zerg then, because that right there pretty much defines it. zerg is a strategy where (instead going for a little group of units that are highly specialized and cost alot) you build a big army out of very cheap units and try to kill your enemy not by individual strength but by overrunning him with big numbers.

ok perhapse i didnt phrase that right . altho we do have large numberrs of poeple in the guild we dont actually field that many pvpers . if you look on a typical night we might have 3 to 6 poeple out there trying to pvp . how is that "zerg" ?

look i have no need to lie . ive been on this side and ive seen and heard much. we simply dont have 20 poeple on most of the time much less have em all be pvpers.

when i first started back on this shard i watched you all trying to deside who i should join . a few names stood out . verum , calibretto , rojo fuego , king edward ... these guys could be alone . chased by 4 guys . they'd run a bit drop someone . run some more . drop annother one ... and then when your backup crowd showed up, id watch them ditch you leaving you stand there in frustration.
i said to myself . i gotta get to know these poeple.
i also took note of shakaja . nearly indestructable . is it you or your dragon ? who cares . props on chosing a good weapon (and knowing what to do with it)
monolith . annother good fighter, altho i cant understand how he moves so fast . must have one hell of a ping.
nasty cares . seen him take down a few at a time as well. damn good player .
krystal . yes i count you as one of the best . but your newbie killin tactics i couldnt live with . you're driving poeple away . justify it however you like .
astinex . awesome fighter. fearless and proud.

it was the kindnes of none other than king edward that made the desision for me . true the man has no tact . but he will give you the shirt of his back if you ask nicely.
once i started hanging with him i saw first hand the honor and generosity that is HSSF2 . but many of you will never know . they have no tolerance for hate and no mercy for the enemy.
for now i can only aspire to be as good as y'all at pvp . one day i will be, mark my words . this is why i came to siege to learn from the best. im watching and learning . beware . if it takes a million deaths so be it. i will not give up . AND i will do it honorably.

i dont know if you are part of that alliance, but if you are, you are definitely wrong on your numbers
that is correct . well not to/td . they arent officially in the alliance . as i said before . a truce . and even then its been what ? 2 days ? maybe the last 2 days we have had a few more poeple on with asty's crew in the mix . gil is allied but largely seperate . they are almost exclusively pvm and crafters . granted cali whips enough ash for all of gil.i dont know if you are part of that alliance, but if you are, you are definitely wrong on your numbers
we may have 30 or 40 poeple scattered about uo running bods . farming leather etc . but largly who we have available for pvp is rarely over half a dozen poeple .
the last 2 days tho they have had more if you count asty's crew. i personally havent been with them . so i cant say for sure . but theres never more than 10 on vent. even with astys crew (yes we gave em vent privilages)
im sure they are enjoying the larger numbers . perhapse it just seems like 20 with the death they hand out.
koc really screwed up when they ticked off asty .they say hes quite good. and his followers are prety good too.
i hear asty and cali have been running mayhem on the field those two together are quite impressive.
but i will admit you may be correct the last couple days . maybe theres more that arent in vent . i cant say for certain as i havent been out there. but up till a couple days ago its been 4 .. 5 .. maybe 6 poeple at most pvping.
ive been runnin spawns sense y'all been to buisy to come find me. hehe . i wan the roll on 2 of the 20s myself the last couple days.
i figure they can do well enough without me . besides they dont really want me and my new totaly unfair dragon out there too.

You obviously never played SC where the initial term "Zerg" comes from (Short definition follow)
Zerglings were cheap, weak, and when purchased came in 2's.. You could get a LOT of them and they'd just surround anything and beat it to death, sure they all did like 2 damage, but it adds up.. If you get enough newbs shooting arrows, it adds up being on such a small shard.. As for "True PvP'ers" saying you have a few is a bit of an exaggeration, but who am I to judge I'm not even grand at PvP.
You lost me here, if you wanted a full out war you wouldn't recruit sooooo many people, more people = less people to fight on a low population server. So obviously your completely misunderstanding what your guild wants, they want no war, just love.
Not knocking you, but more often then not guilds only realize when they're being attacked, you hear it in vent, you concentrate on it when your attacked, but when two non-guildies are fighting amidst a large battle, you probably dont notice it every time.
I call bull, Im sure someone in your guild unknowingly to you does SOMETHING not 100% kosher, even if its as weak as teleporting dragons/flying dragons into a house, thats considered cheating...

must be another asty than i know. but then again its a matter of standards i guess.
hrmm cali does a quite good job as a fieldmage in a group, definitely the best in the entire group. asty however? does he do anything but looting kills and try to get a last shot off in a gank? all i ever see him do is jump on me out of stealth when i fight 5+ other people. then he usually flags, runs up to me and instantly runs away or smokebombs. wouldnt necesairily call that good.
already said, we know there were more than 10 in the pvp channel various times.
not sure why not. they been running with over 5 tamers and dont do very well. im sure they would appreciate another dragon
