Ophid Orders/rations/journals.
Slippery snake skins.
Threads of Fate/life/erm that other one too :blushing:
Cloaks of corruption.

All recently stated by the Devs to be used 'soon'

Any update on these as i'm about to start 'snake skin chest 3' :loser:

My house is really starting to smell too with the rotting rations, any chance of adding a Fridge as the next vet reward? :coco:

You already lost your bet, before you posted.

The Ophidian stuff was used last year, for the turn-ins - though one can hope that the slippery skins might get used for something else in the future, since they turned them and the rations back on for the Spring Cleaning.

Nah, it was mentioned a few weeks back that they have a use for the ophid stuff planned. Just cant seem to find in which post it was.

See Basara's post.

Also see here:

For the Cloaks, they do currently have a use. See:

http://www.uo.com/fof/fiveonfriday106.html

Quote:

"So... what does the Cloak of Corruption do, anyway?"

Current abilities of the Cloak of Corruption:

* Attempts to aggro a large area around the player
o Doesn’t work in towns/guard zones
o Cannot aggro players, pets, summons, or benign creatures
o Cannot aggro anything that is currently in battle
o Increases speed of aggro’d mob for several minutes
o Boosts Fame obtained from aggro’d mobs
o Can draw attacks up to 30 tiles away
* Rapidly decays Karma
o -500 karma every 30 seconds equipped
* Rapidly decays HP, Mana, Stamina in the normal world
* Rapidly restores HP, Mana, Stamina in the Ethereal Void
And for their future use, click here:

And look for this quote:

When will we be able to use the different threads to enhance our Cloaks of Corruption?
Publish 59.

How many of each of the threads will be required to enhance the Cloak of Corruption?
Not too many

kk, so i'll just leave the snakey stuff on the corpses. I don't have room in my pad to hoard junk :blushing:

If such things were made stackable in the first place (stuff we're likely to hoard, especially new/useful/short-term items), we wouldn't need a spring clean.

Sure we would. I mean, why not?

Every playstyle has its rewards...The reward for random hoarding is that, every once in a great while, there's a Spring Cleaning wherein you can get valuable, useful items in exchange for comparatively useless stuff that you've hoarded over time.

I mean look at how much the Scout's Armor and Sorcerer's Armor sets sell for despite the fact that you can do better by assembling a suit in the more conventional manner, and despite that the "Hope For the Future" event flooded the market in turn-in points!

And going further back.....I get small shivers up my spine whenever I see an Item Bless Deed for sale, even though I know the insurance I pay on the item is still gonna be way smaller, even over years, than the price of the Blessing.
