Hi TexasBlack here I'm on Siege Perilous I'm working on my craft skills and I've noticed It's taking quite a while for me to see faster gains. I'm at 67.5 Tailoring and my armslore is at 100. Any recommendations on what i can make to increase my chances of to make a gain. All the NPC tailors are giving me low level stuff to make amy advice welcome.

For Siege, this is much easier.
Robes will take you to 70+, then switch to oil cloths using ROT system. Oil cloths should take you to 116 or so.

Ok Thanks I will try to make some robes. You mean regular cloth robes can take me past 70 ok I'm in the 60's now & Oil clothes to higher levels. I'm willing to try anything to get it to 100 and beyond. Thanks folks.

I suggest you to craft gargish cloth armor. You can start them (kilt) at 90 or when you get 40% with the best tailoring talisman you have.
And now craft Kasa - Cloth Wing Armor - Ninja Tabi - Oil Cloth.

The bad thing about gargish cloth armor is that they start at 0% to craft (like smith items) instead of 50% (like nearly all other non-smith-crafted items). To get to 40% with talisman, using a +30% talisman, would mean getting to 95 Skill (1 skill point advancement = 2% skill advancement.

This makes the kilt the equivalent difficulty as if it was 115 skill to make, had it started at 50% like everything else. The question then becomes whether you lose too much cloth, even with the talisman, than sticking with oil cloth for a longer time. If anyone wants to test this, it would be interesting to see the results (anyone got a 25% to 30% talisman to copy over to TC?) - the baselines would be kilts without talisman, kilts with talisman, and oil cloth without talisman, from 95 to 100, then 100 to 105.

Yes, gargish cloth armor starts at 0% to craft, but I count this as an advantage because this means you can get 30 skill points on the same item, having close to optimal chances all the way.

Cloth gargish kilt requires about 83 tailoring, so you need 26% talisman to get 40% at 90.

Taking in account that with 80-90% you need few times more successful attempts per gain than you need with 50-60%, there's not much difference between spending 1 cloth on an oil cloth and 3 cloth on a kilt.

IIRC it takes about 40k cloths to get from 50 to 120. Does anyone do want to spend few more hours to save few k of cloth? Even on Siege you can use saved time to get much more than 10k gold.
