Tailor bod revamp

The tailor bods need to updated. the stretched hide deeds out lived themselves years ago. The bod rewards should be something useful like those in the Smith bods. The shovels, picks and hammers at least have a purpose. Bear rugs and stretched hides are give aways at best.

example:
A large 4 part normal cloth tailoring deed will get you a spined sewing kit.
A large 4 part exceptional cloth tailoring deed will get you a bear rug.
This really doesn't make any sense. I think some changes like getting a new pigment of Tokuno instead of a bear rug would be more of what a tailor needs. Also as needed as ladders are to keeps and castles, they should be a bod reward instead of an token item.

Well, I d like to see sandals that match all the possible reward cloth colors and maybe look at the reward cloths and have them match our new dyes as opposed to making the ToT dyes that matched all the reward cloth colors?

I think we should get credits to our subscription.

Free beer would be acceptable too.

I'm not a huge fan of the BOD system...I'd prefer to see the more difficult ones much easier to obtain or the rewards for the lesser ones improve dramatically.

It should also be a system that evolves with the game rather than the static non-evolving system it has been since implementation.

They have never gone back and revamped the system to include new items, as they should have.

I suspect they are doing a full redesign of the BoD concept and trying to come up with something more generic -- but things like clients and expansions and live events have taken up more of their time than they expected.

Or perhaps no dev has signed on to be the BoD pointman yet.

Wimps :)

Strange, how there haven't been any changes, despite the

Publish 19 BOD reward adjustment in 2003
The "turn in to get a new one" change in Spring 2005
The adjustment to runic tools' intensity from the BODS in February 2008 (and the fixing of a long-standing typo in the Smith BOD decision tree).
The addition of a random bonus that bumps the intensity sometimes of the top half of the BOD reward tiers, up to 4 steps, in 2009. (and, we finally were told the REAL numbers for Tailor BOD determination, after 7 years of misinformation).

Yeah, that's a lot of "no change/evolution".

I do agree, however, that the rewards themselves need a major overhaul for the BODs below the point where that "random bonus" kicks in.
Like...
-dropping the stretched deeds.
-shaking up the color chart for cloth.
-sandals with BONUSES as well as colors would be nice.
-change the priority levels of the Powerscroll BODs - better yet, put the 120s as the 60% chance in place of the 105 & 110 scrolls of the "Anvil" smith BODs, and make the 120 Tailor PS a quest item, and get rid of the PS from the BOD progression entirely for tailors (and 105s-115s removed from smith BODs).
-dyes & ingots as rewards, if not backpack rewards like SA.
