I have well under 600 skill points used so far. I am at 30.4 tactics and it won't gain as I use archery... What the heck?!

what are you fighting? I advise getting a crystal ball of knowledge. It will let you know if what you are fighting is too hard to gain from.

I don't understand how that works. Cause I have one. How do I use it? Double clicked and turned it on... then what??
then you read the system messages it sends. If it says 'tactics difficulty: Too challenging' what you are fighting is too hard for you to gain.
Mine doesn't send anything.
