In case you’ve missed it, there have been a few developments regarding the beta weekend event that starts April 27th at 12pm noon PDT, and runs until April 29th at 11:59PM PDT.
- If you’re having a hard time figuring out when the beta opens in your area, check out this handy link. (Time zones, how do they work?) If you can’t handle that, you can always use the count-down timer on the official Guild Wars 2 homepage.
- ArenaNet employee Aidan hopped on twitter to ease the minds of pre-purchasers with user@ncsoft usernames.
- According to a reddit thread, it appears that the existing closed beta client is now inactive, and a new client will need to be downloaded in order to take part in the upcoming BWE. I feel sorry for anyone with a bandwidth cap.
- HoM, CE, and pre-purchase items will not be available during beta events.
- Make sure to check out the ArenaNet blog post concerning the April 27th-29th beta weekend event.
