T Hunting new thrill

you know what i love about this game, after 27 years you always find something new or in this case the game find a new way to make something that I have done thousands of times very interesting.
went to do a TROVE map in FEL and this is where my map ended up being.... in a natural fight pit!!!!

don't want to toot my own horn, but not only did i crush the map i pulled 2 Frost Dragons and tamed them both.
i'm good like that.

what kind of pets do you use in a t-hunting? an AoE pet like a naja or just a regular chiv/ai like a triton?

I use a undead bear with whirlwind for level level 4 and under. Troves I use AI/chiv because of the heavy hitters. We riding bears now walking anymore lol

i use a leveled up pack beetle so i can put all my fat loot inside him while doing the chest, I use him for all leveled except for Trove.
poison, rune corruption and AI.

for the Trove i brought another tamer on a 2nd account, disco tamer on a bushido bear and in all honestly on the Trove map i let him solo all the critters.
