Surrender Terms sent to EcZ (re: Mercenary Attacks)

Here is a text (copied version) of the Surrender Terms sent to the Elf Clan Zanthes (EcZ) gotten off the CORPSE of a Mercenary Scout AND our response:

Surrender Terms

In accordance with the goals of BPL, I propose to receive the surrender of the representatives of Elf Clan Zanthes on the following terms, to wit:

1) Immediate withdrawal of support, material or political, to the Gargish presence in the lands of Britain, Malas, Tokuno, and Ilshenar.

2) Public condemnation of Queen Dawn for endangering the fabric of our society by allowing Gargish presence in Britain.

3) Supporting actions leading to the cancellation of all diplomatic relationships between Britain and Ter Mur.

4) Hunting down the one known as Yattering and any similar abominations from our land.

This done, your lands will be free of attacks, not to be disturbed by BPL authority as long as your members follow the terms of surrender in both letter and spirit.

RESPONSE:
I, Queen Elevere of the Elf Clan Zanthes, hereby decline to surrender our lands, our clan and our right to co-exist with whomever we please to ANYONE, let alone the BPL. If 'Purity' is defined by you to be only those you agree with and support, then we wish to remain 'Impure' in your eyes and will hardily and steadfastfully defend any that fall under your misguided attacks, now and in the future.

As Nicholas recently reminded me, the issue of virtually limitless funding follows soon after the royal treasury was depleted, on a night of few witnesses and involvement by the BPL.

The criminals faced trial and were punished, but what of the money?

If the assaults do not cease and communities are unwilling to surrender, someone needs to follow the money and cut the supply line. I'd wager that shortly after the night the Treasury was robbed, that a very large deposit was made at a bank somewhere.

I'd also wager that an equally large withdrawal in cash was made within the last three weeks.

Where is the money? Who controls the funds?

The Yattering, I understand, was about Britain the night of the robbery. Maybe the reason the BPL wants the Yattering removed is that he was lurking about the castle and saw more than he was meant to see....

All of the above is sheer speculation on my part, but it seems I've a new story to follow.
